ZZ Top, the self-described “little ol’ band from Texas,” has been performing together for over four decades. One of rock’s most entertaining live acts, ZZ Top’s union of red-hot Texas boogie & blues and cool Memphis soul has made their music instantly recognizable. “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Legs,” “Concrete & Steel,” and “Pin Cushion” are just a few of the classic hits by these Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
Appearing as ZZ Top’s Special Guest, The Ben Miller Band is a one-of-a kind trio that combines the frenetic energy of bluegrass, the soul of the delta blues and the haunted spirit of Appalachian mountain music which has long a been a trait of their native Ozarks.
Ben Miller Band and ZZTop gave a GREAT performance.
I love ZZ Top - They were amazing! I didn't care for the Ben Miller band - not my taste in music.
GREAT SONGS RIVETING PERFORMANCE BY BOTH BANDS
Great show from great performers
ZZ Top are as good as ever!
Great venue, great songs, great performance, great sound
small venue, all seats are good
The band (ZZ Top) as excellent, but the sound was terrible. The warm-up band was great and their sound was awesome; how can that be??
Still good after all these years!
The show was great but the music is not for everyone.
The band had their sub woofer volume turned up entirely too high....it was simply annoying and you couldn't enjoy the music...the bass was so loud you couldn't hear the lyrics....many people were unhappy with the sound quality.
Exscellent performance by the band. Only concern was the audio at the beginning of the concert. After the first few songs, it seemed to straighten out.
Overall the show was great. The reason I did not give it a 10 was because of the sound mix for ZZ Top. The opening act had a better sound mix.
Very poor sound
Becaues American Music Theatre has great concerts! Just attended the ZZ TOP concert & it totally rocked. Always great artist at the American Music Theatre.
They are great performers for there age.
it is good to get out and relive your younger memories, watching the show makes you feel young again they were wonderful
While I was very happy to be able to see ZZ Top for the first time ever, I must say that I was very disappointed in the microphone/mix levels that went uncorrected for most of the concert. In particular, the bass drum volume was over-amplified. That resulted in a very "muddy" sound. Billy Gibbon's vocal mic was much too low as was his guitar. The vocal level did seem to improve somewhat throughout the concert.
Because they Rock!
Great sound, very good seating throughout. The staff is great from the time you walk in till you leave. Just a great place to see a rock show
excellent venue. Easy access, theater sounds great.
The Ben Miller Band was very, very good! ZZ top, not so much primarily due to the Sound / Mix. It was way too much base. When you cannot hear the singers voice's over the music it is kinda hard to appreciate the total package. These gentlemen can however definitely play guitar though!
Great walk down memory lane for us 70's teenagers. Sound wasn't perfect, however.
Good sound, pleasant venue and attentive staff.
Great opening act in Ben Miller Band and ZZ Top was Fantastic!
ZZ Top rocked the house ...love those guys
It was an awesome show!!
Sound quality was bad.
Great place for an up close experience
Always a great show from ZZ Top and an outstanding experience at AMT. This was my fist trip to AMT and I was very pleased. Will definitely return again for any other classic rock acts that interest me.
ZZ is awesome!
It was great!! The warm up band was good too!
The entire experience from ticket purchase to getting seated and watching performance was curteous and customer friendly.
The show was all I hoped it would be for someone who likes ZZ Top. It was the 2nd time I have seen them.
ZZ Top was great. The opener was just okay, maybe.
This is a very pleasant venue.
Great place to see any show good seating and not a problem getting around.
Couldn't hear the vocals for the first half of the show.
great seats anywhere in side
Every seat is a good seat!
It was a great show!
