This popular singing trio from the 1960s features members Tony Butala, Donovan Tea and Bobby Poynton. The smooth vocals and gorgeous harmonies of The Lettermen can be heard in their hits “Moments to Remember,” “Goin’ Out of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “Turn Around, Look at Me,” “Hurts So Bad,” and “The Way You Look Tonight.”
This group is not only at the top of entertainment , their voices are superb and their meeting with fans afterwards is far exceeding any other group. They love their fans and will stay until the last fan is gone. No bad press on them. So you will not see them in the news like some other groups or individuals that have no class.
They put on a wonderful show. Been a fan of Lettermen for years. Looking forward to next year.
I feel they had to much pre-recorded material and they were to loud in the start of the show We heard a lot better at AMT
Just loved them! Great music. Interaction with the audience is a big plus!!!!
Really enjoy hearing the "oldies".
Love the sound of the Lettermen and the interaction with the audience. Wholesome show.
This was one of the best shows we have seen.
The Lettermen gave a very entertaining show. They sound as good as ever, and have a very good relationship with the audience.
From start to finish I don't think I ever stopped smiling! Great show...could certainly tell they appreciated their fans!
the show they put on
My friends would be the Letterman era folks who enjoy love songs and lyrics that you can understand and sing along. Really liked the playing of the past introductions from TV. We loved the songs and could skip some of the extra chatter.
great variety of songs and they still have great voices
They were excellent! Sounded great, did a nice variety of songs, sang them all just like we remembered. Very entertaining.
Too far away.
thoroughly enjoyed hearing the songs I grew up with.
The music was awesome, well performed....very entertaining and engaging group, dedicated to the music and to the audience.
They played songs that I grew up remembering
Good voices, great music, great showmanship. Good acoustics.
great theater, clean environment, friendly staff
The Lettermen show was wonderful and full of heartwarming nostalgia!
They were absolutely the most congenial and best group that I have ever seen perform anywhere !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For older people, the Lettermen do the music that we remember from the years of growing up. We see them whenever they appear within driving distance
a fun time in a nice environment
The Lettermen were outstanding. We have one of their CDs and were listening to it on the way to the concert. We both felt they singing was much better now that what was on our CD. I could have listened to them for several more hours. Also liked how they involved the audience.
We loved the interaction with the audience. We also loved hearing about their lives, where they lived, their families etc. And of course their music. I would tell anyone that if The Lettermen return to AMT we will be there.
The group kept us entertained, continuously, providing us with fine music, background history of the individuals, and old video clips of shows of long ago, introducing the group on their shows.
The show was really great -- The Lettermen were very interactive with the audience.
Of all the groups that you have, we find the Lettermen to be the most gracious group for a very reasonable price. Their talent is excellent and their way with the audience is the best of any group we've seen at AMT.
My husband and I have seen The Lettermen several times at AMT. Their show, while similar from year to year, is always entertaining. They give a quality performance which can be appreciated by people of all ages who enjoy good music.
The Lettermen are TERRIFIC ! We enjoyed their singing so much. So good to hear 3 part harmony done to perfection and over a wide range. They brought back so many wonderful memories for us. We also enjoyed the song about Daddy's Girl. The patriotic songs near the end of the show were stirring. Thanks, again for having them there and many thanks to them for a most enjoyable evening.
Because this is not like going to a concert and just hearing the group perform songs, a show. There are jokes and they come into the audience and you can go up and have your picture taken with them. I've never seen another act that does this.
Couldn't ask for more!
The Lettermen are exceptionally well coordinated, both in their singing and in their movements about the stage. The content of their songs in wholesome, unlike some of the modern songs of today.
The Lettermen are terrific performers and "showmen". This was my third Lettermen concert and I brought four new fans with me this time.
We have attended every show that the Lettermen have done at AMT as well as shows in Atlanta, GA, Carlisle, PA and Pleasanton, CA and feel that this one was the best. If you enjoy good music you will enjoy their shows.
Great show. This is the 6th or 7th time I have seen them. Not only did they put on a great show they signed autographs and had pictures taken after the show. All three men had great personalities and realized what it meant for the fans to meet them.
I was so looking forward to this show for a long time. I play old Lettermen cds in my car and in my home all the time. While I knew that the trio would not be the originals, I was so disappointed to see only one original member of the Lettermen. I did not expect country songs or time wasted so fans could take pictures on stage while they were singing. I left at intermission.
Great memories and great songs that never go out of style. Three wonderful voices and appreciation of their audience.
Singing is impeccable
Great show, all the oldies that brought back good memory's.
Great Show! Venue is lovely and safe at night.
They did a great job and their voices are superb. The long intermission was annoying and the Frank Sinatra was a drag. Everything else was great.
Great show for what we like in our age group. Always liked their music.
I like the sound
If you enjoy the oldies - - smooth harmonies and beautiful love songs, then The Lettermen is the group for you. They are professionals in every sense of the word as well as being individuals to whom one can easily relate. I've been following them for many years and they never disappoint. While other groups may bill themselves as the Ambassadors of Love Songs, the record shows there is only one group that deserves that title - - The Lettermen. If you have never seen them perform before, do yourself a favor and go see them on May 2.
The Lettermen were fantastic as always. I would very much like to see a Christmas show done by them.
