Sheryl Crow is an accomplished singer/songwriter and skillful guitarist, and has nine Grammy Awards to prove it. Her music puts a fresh, updated spin on classic rock sounds, incorporating folk, hip hop, country and pop along the way. Crow has penned everything from sunny, good-time rock songs to world-weary ballads. “All I Wanna Do,” “Good is Good,” “Soak Up the Sun,” “Always on Your Side,” and “The First Cut is the Deepest” are just a few of Sheryl Crow’s many hits.
Opening for Sheryl Crow will be Nashville-based The Wild Feathers, known for their mixture of folk, blues and rock. The group came together in 2010 out of a shared love of music by hitmakers such as Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young and The Allman Brothers.
American Music Theatre is proud to welcome all types of shows and concerts to our stage. Sometimes during the course of a performance, audience members will show their enthusiasm by standing and dancing, or may approach the stage, especially when encouraged by the performers to do so. Please know that AMT will make every effort to insure the safety of all guests, while presenting an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Music was overpowering. It was hard to hear Sheryl over the music.
Need to be able to stand up and dance hard to watch a rock show sitting in a movie seat makes for no interaction with performer
Music was so loud the sound was distorted.
Sheryl Crow is an excellent musician.
Simply a great venue. The sound mixing on the Wild Feathers was off. Hard to hear the vocals. I'm also not a fan of the lights hitting the audience. They are too bright.
I loved the show but the sound was horrible. Most of the time I couldn't understand what she was saying.
Sheryl is a great singer / songwriter, and has a great band accompanying her.
she's great and the band was fantastic
Her show was excellent, bring her back.
She was great!
Loved Sheryl Crow, but was not happy with the sound balance. Unfortunately the base was turned up so much that her voice was drowned out. The point of seeing a musician is to hear them sing, the instrumental accompaniment should support the voice not drown it out. Many times it was difficult to understand what she was singing; if it were not for knowing her songs (most of them) I wouldn't have known. I can't tell if I liked the opening act, who I don't know at all, because I couldn't understand the song words.
Music was too loud and over shadowed the artist voice
Sheryl Crow puts on a terrific show.
Sheryl performed her hits, her voice was great and the duet with Johnny Cash was a pleasant surprise. A true high point of the show !
Entertainer was great, but only played for an hour
She and her band were great! Your facility is top notch and Immaculate. Thank you for managing such a wonderful venue
The music was great. But management is way over the top in holding down the patrons ability to enjoy the show to the fullest.
Sheryl Crow made sure audience felt part of the show. Liked opening act Wildflowers. Would book both again.
Sheryl Crow was awesome!! such talent! Would have been nice to be allowed to dance up front at the stage, though, and take photos with no flash.
she was great!!!!!!
Had a hard time actually hearing the singing.
It was just too loud for the size of the theater. The vocals were close to being distorted because the volume was too high and the band, especially the drums, drowned out the vocals.
Great Performance and rarely in this area.
Sheryl offers a bit of everything in the rock/country-rock genre. Her ballads are sweet. She has great control over a voice that is effective and... sexy! Her image encourages all of us oldsters that some of us still got it. Does any woman younger than her have hair any sexier?!? She projected such a positive mood that evening. I saw her in Philly years ago and will see her again if you bring her back.
Performance was great! But it was weird to have everyone sitting for rock music
It was only okay, the sound mix was terrible- it was very hard to hear the vocals for both bands. I wondered if that was an AMT problem and Sheryl Crow problem. The show needed more energy and more audience involvement.
Sheryl Crow was excellent but opening act was not.
Enjoyed the music and the talent, however she sang for only 1 hour and half. That was disappointing.
As always, the vocals are drowned out by the band. Doesn't occur in AMT's house productions.
the accoustics are awful, we never hear a "band" again there, only singer/songwriters with an accousitcal set
Sheryl Just is an awesome performer and SHE ROCKS!!!! I am a bit dissapointed I couldn't get a picture ~~ I don't even know how to work my phone ~~ Well that's my problem and I know pics weren't allowed, but I sure think your security did a great job at maintaining that rule!! Ha ha ~~ I loved every minute of the show and even got to go right up to the stage ~~ Like you said if it is encouraged ~~ do it ~~~ and I certainly did ~~ I didn't care about a photo ~~~ it was just nice being there ~~ Thank You :D ~~~ T.
both bands were outstanding
Sheryl Crow is a top notch artist and one of my all time favorites. The AMT is the perfect venue because it is small enough to allow you to see and hear well. Locating the theater was easy and parking was convenient.
Sound quality was bad
Sheryl is an excellent performer but the bass and occasionally the other guitars were too loud that it made it hard to understand the words. I wished the concert was a little longer.
Loved the show. Only complaint is that you shine the green and white spot lights unto the crowd, which is blinding in a dark theatre. Please sit in the lower audience sometime and you will see what I mean.
Sheryl put on a great show!
Great performance even though it was somewhat difficult to hear the vocals at times. Sunday evenings (any evening leading into a work day) aren't the most convenient since I travel to see shows there.
The background music was so loud that I could barely hear Sheryl.
We absolutely love Sheryl Crow, and were hoping for a more intimate performance in AMT, so we were disappointed that the side screens were not utilized, and hugely disappointed in the sound quality, the bass overwhelmed all the musicians and more importantly left Sheryl"s clear beautiful voice as an afterthought that was sometimes not even able to be heard.
the band was very entertaining and Sheryl was wonderful -- love her
the tickets were over $100 each and she played for 1 hr and 15 mins---not good
Sheryl Crow put on a Great show! Very entertaining!
Sheryl still has a great voice and can play country ,pop , and rock. Her supporting band were very good as well.
