The Temptations were the most consistently commercially successful and critically acclaimed male vocal group of the 1960’s and early 1970’s. Some of their many hits include “Get Ready,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Ball of Confusion,” “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” “It’s Just My Imagination” and “My Girl.”

The Four Tops were another of Motown’s most consistent hit-makers in the 1960’s, and its longest-lived lineup (40 years). The Four Tops also produced hit after hit including “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “I Can’t Help Myself,” “Reach Out and I’ll Be There” and “Standing in the Shadows of Love.”
