Hey, hey, it’s Micky Dolenz of the Monkees! Micky has been in the spotlight nearly all his life. He started his career starring in the ‘50s television show “Circus Boy,” but it was years later, when he won a role in a little TV show called “The Monkees,” that his life would change forever. The Monkees both TV show and musical group are now American cultural icons. Their hits include: “Last Train to Clarksville,” “I’m a Believer,” and “Daydream Believer,” to name a few.

Gary Lewis has a pretty famous dad. Jerry Lewis’ son was able to carve out his own niche in the music world of the 60s with his group Gary Lewis and the Playboys. He and his band auditioned for his first gig at Disneyland in anonymity, and got the job because they sounded great. In 1964, their first single, “This Diamond Ring” went straight to number one. Other hits like “Everybody Loves A Clown” and “Sealed with a Kiss,” followed.
