Your first stop today is the world famous Strasburg Railroad in the quaint village of Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Enjoy lunch at one of the many dining options at the railroad.

Then go on to the Choo Choo Barn - Traintown USA® and the Shops of Traintown also in Strasburg. Since 1961, people across the country and around the world have come to visit a truly unique attraction... the Choo Choo Barn - Traintown USA®! With over 150 animated figures and vehicles and 22 operating trains, you will see Lancaster County in miniature.

Enjoy the dinner buffet at Miller's Smorgasbord featuring top sirloin, roasted breast of turkey, golden fried chicken, baked ham with cider sauce, fish, chicken pot pie with homemade noodles, baked cabbage in cream sauce, mashed potatoes and filling, brown buttered noodles, not to mention their famous dessert bar.

Shop until you drop at Rockvale Outlets conveniently located on Route 30 right across the street from American Music Theatre. There are over 120 outlet stores, featuring the brands you love at prices you won't believe!

Check into the Holiday Inn Express. This unique property is in the midst of the Rockvale Shopping Outlets.

Then go to dinner at Good 'N Plenty Restaurant in Smoketown. Start your day at Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster which is a nationally significant living history museum that collects, conserves, exhibits, and interprets Pennsylvania German material, culture, history and heritage from 1740 through 1940.

Then enjoy lunch at Kreider Farms Restaurant in Manheim. The buffet offers over 60 feet of scrumptious Pennsylvania Dutch specialties.

Then on to The Kreider Farms Tour in Manheim to enjoy a 90 minute tour offering a high-tech view of farming. It includes a drive down the middle of their titanic-sized loafing barn - otherwise known as the cow palace - and a bird's eye view of the milking merry-go-round.

Check into the Hilton Garden Inn for the evening. Enjoy dinner at their on-site restaurant, Clyde's Café.

Day 2
Venture over to Kitchen Kettle Village located in the quaint town of Intercourse. Spend the morning wandering down Pepper Lane to Lancaster County's "world famous" canning kitchen. Enjoy the 42 shops and restaurants along the way! Have a simple, light lunch at the Kettle Café.

Then go over to the Intercourse Canning Company also located in Intercourse. This cannery is an authentic Lancaster County cannery with Amish and Mennonites working in the kitchen. Sampling is free with such items as pickled vegetables, jams, salsas, butters, relishes, sauces, mustards, and much more!

Visit Central Market, which is the oldest continuously operating farmer's market in the United States. Visit the Lancaster Cultural History Museum and the Lancaster Quilt and Textile Museum. There are many options for your dining pleasure. You will find anything from pizza and burgers to the best elegant cuisine found in central Pennsylvania.

Pick up a Gettysburg National Military Park Brochure and take a self-guided tour of the battlefield. The brochure has a tour map of the park, brief description of the battle and a brief history of the park. The map coincides with park tour route signs and wayside exhibits so that you can take a self-guided tour, one stop at a time. Begin at the National Park Visitors Center and end there as well.

Next, visit Boyd's Bear Country the "world's most humongous teddy bear store". You will find over 120,000 square feet of shopping space and over 70,000 bears, hares, and other plush critters as well as seasonal décor. There are several dining options on the lower level including a sit-down family style meal.

Day 2
Make you way over to Hershey, Pennsylvania. Start your day at Hershey's Chocolate World. Learn how chocolate is made and packaged. Visit the Kit Kat Gimme a Break Café and the gift shop.

Make your way to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Check into the Holiday Inn Express. This unique property is surrounded by the Rockvale Outlets.
