Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson first showed the world that women can rock when their band, Heart, stormed the charts in the ‘70s with hits like “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” and “Straight On.” Heart continued topping the charts through the ‘80s and ‘90s with huge hits like “These Dreams,” “Alone,” “What About Love,” “If Looks Could Kill,” “Never,” and a string of other hits that showcased the sisters’ enormous talents as musicians and singers.
American Music Theatre is proud to welcome all types of shows and concerts to our stage. Sometimes during the course of a performance, audience members will show their enthusiasm by standing and dancing, or may approach the stage, especially when encouraged by the performers to do so. Please know that AMT will make every effort to insure the safety of all guests, while presenting an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Show was great but too short for the ticket price
Great performance of an old favorite but the show was pretty short for the price of the tickets!
Heart puts on an absolutely great show. Ann's voice, Nancy's enthusiasm, and the band's professionalism shine through in a theatre where this isn't a bad seat in the house.
I didn't feel they played long enough.
They put on a good concert. Negative comment - ushers should make attendees sit down when everyone else sits. My view was blocked by the few that remained standing - not fair for the price we pay not to see!!!
The show was too short. They only played 1 HR and 20 min. Many songs I wanted to hear did not get played.
Great act. Still going strong.
This is the second year in a row we have seen Heart at AMT, and the quality of the performance has been EXCELLENT both times. Unfortunately, it is the QUANTITY that has been lacking. Ann and Nancy still rock hard and Ann's vocals are nearly as good as they ever were. Certainly better than they were back in the 1995 concert video. The problem is a concert that only last 1:20. I understand that it is an hour and twenty minutes of solid music, but there was just so much of their classic hits that they did not do. Again, this wouldn't have been as much of a problem had they not taken time to do covers of other band's songs. Bottom line, if a band is only going to perform for an hour and twenty minutes, I want that time to at least be their own music.
It was fantastic
Great show. Super performance by a group that I thought we would never see in Lancaster.
Excellent show. Just a little short
HEART WAS GREAT
One of the best concerts ever! I could go see Heart every week for the rest of my life!
Ann and Nancy never get old - well their voices and music anyway :-)
Heart is amazing! They never disappoint!
too short! we arrived late and missed a few songs. this really made it seem short. Cant fault you for starting on time. Expected an intermission and 2 hour show
For the price the show was short. We basically paid a $1.00 a minute for the show
The performance itself was terrific. The band was spot on. it was however quite short, at 1hr 20 min including a brief break. Additionally, I was in row F, and for most of the show I had to stand as the people in front of me, including the ones in the front row, were standing. Overall, the length of the show, and the fact that I could not use the seat I paid for, was not worth what I paid. I would come back to see Heart again, but not at that price.
Powerful show. Ann and Nancy are wonderful.
Music was awesome...show was short for the cost
It seemed as if the music was overstepping the lyrics.
Great performance....way too much money for the 1 hr 20 min. concert though. Display screens were distracting as they had text on them. Would have been better to have video or closeups.
They can still rock and sound is good.
Great Performance, but very SHORT show. Extremely low value for the cost of the tickets. There should have been an opening act.
great show but for the ticket price the show could have been longer
Performance was great. Duration of concert (1 hour twenty minutes) was short given price of ticket above $100.
High energy - amazing show
Awesome! Local- low cost
Excellent show! Heart is one of my all time favorites! They can still rock, after all these years!
Thought the amount of time they performed was short with only being 1 hour 20 minutes. Other than that the show was wonderful and the venue is wonderful. Keep up the great work!
Been a big fan of Heart for years - AMT is a great place to see a show !!
How could Heart be anything but great
One of the best rock bands of all time
I enjoyed the show, but it was so short for the price I paid for the ticket. 90 bucks for an hour and 10 minute show. Was expecting more of a 90 mins/ 2 hour show.show was fantastic, but was surprised how quick it was only an hour and 10 minute show. Ticket price should have been like 50 60 bucks for the quality of the show. Disappointed in how short the show was.
Show was good. But I was disappointed that it was only 1 hr and 20 minutes long.
They were very good, but what a short concert. I didn't think 1hr and 10 minutes with the encore was worth what your venue charges for tickets. Tickets were much cheaper at other concerts they did in area (Penn's Peak).
band played 1hr. traveled miles to see them.
Thought they would play a little longer.
Extremely brief, unused projection screens, reprimanded early during the show for taking photos by an usher. I was not shooting then watching many others videoing and photo shooting all thru the show.
really solid band supported by the Wilson sisters enormous talents.Just wish it was a bit longer than an hour and 15
Heart is a group from my younger years that has definitely retained their appeal. Ann sounds just like she did when I listened to her in college, and Nancy still plays a mean guitar! The show was fantastic!
It was good
Great performance - unbelievably short however - especially considering the price of the tickets.
Best musical venue in the local area, by far...! Great accommodations and amazing performers! Great job!
Amazing vocals. The songs sounded just like you wanna hear them still after all these years.
great voices and memories
The girls really rock!
sound was extremely loud, and show was not active, or long enough
I like the fact that every AMT concert I have been to starts on-time.
Performance outstanding; length of show much too short.
It was OK
I was impressed with the facility, the staff, and the show.
It was entertaining and rockin'.
Heart Is A Great band
They were good, but the show was a little short
I always Loved heart. But i was a bit disappointed that the show was not as long as most concerts I have attend.
Great Classic Rock show from the first female rockers.
Great show. Way too short of a performance. It was only 80 minutes with the encore.
Heart is AMAZING!
They are still incredible
We were in the center and the ones in front of us kept standing up so it was hard to see, could those who want to stand up go down in front, the show was fabulous,
Great vocals and superior band
First, the AMT people and ticketing are first-class. It's nice to be at a smaller venue and not have a huge traffic hassle.
The concert itself was only 1 hour 24 minutes long, including the 3 encore songs. Song selection didn't really appeal to me having been to a much better Heart concert a few years ago. I brought ear plugs this time which made the sound level perfect; I was in the balcony. Would've liked more interaction with the audience; it seemed like we were watching a rehearsal. The Wilson's still have all their talents, though! Tickets were very pricey for the overall delivered product.
First time seeing Heart; grew up listening to lots and lots of their 80s tunes, many of which were top chart hits....LOVE THEM! So, why didn't they play more of them??? Only like 30% (& that's being generous) were of their great hits? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate their branching into other areas but think they should pay attention to their core audience (I'm 39 and I would say the majority of the crowd were older than me)! And, for the 'middle-of-the-road' price of $90? Really disappointed. I feel like I didn't really 'see' them and feel like I need/should see them again but would be scared to, for fear of getting what I already got. Their performance however, was spot on.... both Ann and Nancy really do still have 'it'... they just need to share 'it' with us.... their fans!!!!
Couldn't wait to see Heart, so excited when getting there, big disappointment when leaving. Sound system needed to be adjusted, couldn't hear Ann or Nancy singing. AMT has large screen TVS, put them on so the second level can see the band. USE THEM ! ! Show was way too short, only played an hour and 20 minutes. Way too much money for the time they performed. As much as I love the band, I feel all the fans deserved a much longer performance and better quality sound !
I'm usually not a critic, however,Heart's sun seems to be setting. Overall they gave an excellent performance, but there were a few things I feel they could have improved upon. Heart played all their older, and in my opinion, best songs first, except for Crazy on You. This meant there wasn't as much to look forward to during the show. For their encore they played a ballad and 2 Led Zeppelin songs. I understand they want to pay homage to their heroes, but 2 Zeppelin songs and no Magic Man ? The show could have been a little longer too. It was about an hour and 10 minutes. All in all though I'm grateful for AMT making such shows available for the Lancaster area !
Awesome performance, but too short for the ticket price. Ushers and parking attendants are rude. If no photos at all are allowed, then announce it that way. The usher by me kept standing in front of me to tell people not to take phone pictures.
I have been a fan since the 80's. Ann Wilson is my Idol. I began singing then and I continue to sing their songs in my Cover Band. They are the Greatest Band Ever! Can't wait until the Show on Monday!
I have been crazy for Heart for more than 30 years. A Group of us saw the "Girls" in Jan 2013 at AMT....we were so excited, music was and still is great/wonderful! Very disappointed with the length of their preformance (40-50 minutes).
Fantastic performance with only one complaint.....if their volume setting was 10, just turn it down to about 7-8 and that would be perfect.
Loved the show! Heart was great and the theatre was very nice with ample parking.
Everything was great.
Excellent venue. Heart is the best rock group with female lead in the world.
the show was great the only thing was we were sitting in the last row of the balcony and it was very dark up there no lights for that row
Excellent!! One great performance and glad I could get tickets.
hEART IS TRULY TALENTED, GREAT VOICES!
The Heart concert is one of the best concerts I habe seen over the years! Anne's voice is amazing, powerful and you could feel their love for music! Would have paid extra to meet them!!
Heart rocked the house!! I saw them perform 34 years ago and they sound just as awesome. Sent chills through me and brought tears to my eyes quite a few times, they were great!
I appreciated the variety of songs that were performed. I also enjoyed the interaction. One drawback for AMT is that; those who are seated in the upper section obviously could not see the performers up close. It would be nice if the performance was put on the display venues.
It was good to hear those songs again and the band is still good!
Except for the length of the show (not long enough), they were great.
Classic group that still sounds as good as they ever were.
heart is my favorite and they always rock
Ann's voice sounded fantastic, like always, and Nancy's guitar playing is dead on! They are worth seeing! Just would have liked to hear a few more 80s rockers, like "Who Will You Run to", or "If Looks Could Kill".
I though the actual performance was fantastic. They still have "it" after all of these years. I was a bit disappointed in the length of the show. I think it could've been a bit longer. I was also bothered by the constant sea of cell phones. I am not talking about people using them to take pics or video, I am talking about people actually talking on them or using the internet. It was very distracting.
Good show, but it would have been nice to be a little longer.
After 40+ years performing, Heart did not miss a beat! The venue is great as well.
Exceptional seats, service, and ease of entry and exit. Volume of music too loud. I had to wear plugs to enjoy the show. However, the show was exceptional!
Heart was fantastic. Great Show.
The performace was wonderful, but very disappointed in the length of the show considering the ticket cost!!
Bass was a little loud, I was sitting in aisle X. I was sitting on aisle and ushers could be more discreet in use of flashlights, I was blinded a couple times.
Great performers, great music, great venue.
Heart is an excellent example of the talent needed to enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The sound mix was the worst. Ann Wilson could not be heard over the bass and lead.
Heart still sounds awesome and rocks!!!!!
Very entertaining....not a bad seat in the house!
Enjoyed the show very much. Vocals could have been louder - drums & guitars overpowered. Show didn't start on time and could have been a little longer.
Fantastic performance by true legends in an intimate setting.
Heart is the best!
The gourp didn't seem to want to be there
Great venue and fabulous entertainment.
It was a good show, but rather short.
Great performance, sound,stage set-up.
It was a great show. They are consummate performers.
they sound exactly the way they did in the 70's. awesome!!!! I hope they come local again!!
Only complaint was that sound levels (in the balcony) were a bit louder than they needed to be, and not typical of other classic rock shows I've attended at AMT.
Music and vocals are wonderful!
Great music. Convenient times. Nice Facility
Excellent performers standing the test of time.
overall good performance at an awesome venue
They were great!
Excellent performance and a chance to see legends
They were sooo good I had to wonder if was really live! Wow!!! Acoustics in AMT must be super! [getting out of the parking lot takes long time.]
its a great view n sound area we were there for chicago n 3 dog nite also
Fantastic Show! Wish they would have played a little longer, but what they did was one of the best shows I have ever seen!
Great show!! It just could've been a little longer.
Ann and Nancy Wilson sounded as great now as in the 1970's. Maybe better. Ann is fabulous and can still hit the high notes!!!!
Heart was AWESOME
HEART totally Rocked the House. This was the 3rd time I saw them and I think the show at your Venue was THE BEST one I've seen. Hope they come back!
Heart sounds as good today as they ever have. It was great to get to see them live just a couple of months before their induction into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. The Wilson sisters are the first women that I can remember to lead a rock band, and do they ever get the job done! Also was great to see them backed by their regular band. I just wish they could have played longer. I could have listened to them all night!
I was very disappointed with their act, just song after song, no history or interesting information from over all these years. I also was unhappy with how they presented themselves, looked and acted, Their voices were the same, but they were plugging their new album which took time away from years of great songs I hoped to hear. The sound was ridiculously high, from the two radio personalities, that served no purpose except to blast you out of your seats, and then the sound through the concert. I've been to many hard rock concerts over the years but for the size of the space the sound was excessively high, and we left early.
We attended a concert of Heart's in the 80's and have found that Ann and Nancy Wilson still can rock a house. Ann;s voice is as strong as ever. A great concert.
very well organized
They were great. Their live performance was studio quality.
Heart is an incredible band and worth every penny to go see!
they are still a great live show they can still bring it after 30 plus yrs in the business
Heart is the BEST!!! They rocked and were awesome - sounded GREAT!
It would have been a 10 if we would have been allowed to go up to the stage!
it was a great show and a nice place to see it
Good show but for the price it was too short
I love Heart, they are one of the best R&R acts ever, and THE best rockin' female band. The only thing better than seeing Heart i concert is seeing them at American Music Theater, because it's an awesome venue for live shows.
Heart is one of my favorite bands, and they always put on a good show
not nearly as long as I anticipated given the cost. Plus, they had so much in their catalog to choose from, yet they did not perform some of the greatest hits.
Great group & venue. Sound was very good but, it seemed to echo somewhat.
Heart is awesome. Ann Wilson has the most amazing voice.....one of the top vocalists in Rock Music today.
Heart was terrific! I wish it they woud have played for more than 1 1/4hours.
I would recommend most of the shows I see at AMT, however I have been disappointed that the screens on either side of the stage have not been used for Martina McBride and Heart. For those of us sitting at a distance would enjoy seeing the faces of the preformers to see the emotion they put into their music. Overall I am pleased with the concerts I have seen just a little concerned that dissapointed that those screens have not been used.
Great place, clean, friendly staff. Excellent show.
I'm 56 and the girls are a little older than me and yet they can perform like its 1985 . I can't . Great show !!! Bring them back I'll be there!!
Great Rock group and fantastic music! More rock concerts please!
Great musicianship by Nancy Wilson, terrific rock singing by Ann Wilson. The whole band is excellent.
they are very talented, played for almost 2 hours, was a great show
it's no wonder why Heart is going into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame after seeing there show!
They sang a great set of music.
sound and view were great
Heart is a great performing group.
The entire concert was fantastic, from the facility to the performance, everything was perfect.
The theatre is a great size so there's really no bad seat.
Great vocals and guitar !!!!!
World class entertainment at a local venue.
I love Heart and would recommend them to anyone
Although it seemed short (compared to the 3 hr Elvis show the week before), they were great!!
GREAT THEATRE PERSONAL
Ann and Nancy Wilson are legendary women of rock and they keep getting better with each tour. They are great performers, singers, musicians and songwriters. They know how to please their fans and entertain.
Excellent entertainment in our home town up close and personal.
THis is my first concert since Billy Joel in MSG in the early 80s. What a way to get back in the game.
Driving 11 hours from Charleston SC to see Ann and Nancy perfrom... Last time I saw them perform live was in 1978. My Mom took me to this concert on my 12th birthday as a birthday present My parents also bought me an electric guitar. I holed my self up in my room learning all the guitar parts to all of Heart's music...I still play to this day ...Im now 46 years old...The Wilson sisters are my true inspiration when it comes to music... I cannot wait....18 more days
I am a long time HEART fan and a fellow Heart Monger. I will be at this show along with 3 other Mongers. I've seen HEART so many times and every time is just like the 1st. Amazing ladies! Don't miss this show!
I saw Heart in Germany and again in Oregon a few years later. Awesome show. You do not want to miss Heart. No way. Get ready to rock.
