The majority of comments listed herein are very positive and deservedly so. The shows are great and the performers don't disappoint. As for the host, Emil, while he certainly appears to be a fine person and a good singer, his jokes have become repetitive and perhaps border on annoying. Some of the group choices have appeared here any number of times. Tweak the line-up every now and then to include other PBS Doo Wop standouts like Gene Chandler, Percy Sledge, Lenny Welsh, the Vogues, Little Anthony, etc.
An excellent assembly of influential artists- and legends.
Great show but would like to see more early shows
the show is very well organized
the show was not a doo whop show.. not many great songs that I remember were sung by the groups.. Very disappointed!!!!
Tell Emil Stucchio to drop the same jokes he tells every time he appears. His girlfriend when he was a kid, and please, no more about getting old and having to take your medications for various ailments. It gets real old real quick. Also the female artist, Mrs McLean needs to sing a different song. She to sings the same song "Till" every time.No more of that tune, mix it up. She can sing for sure
Great entertainment value!
FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF FROM THE MOMENT YOU STEP THRU THE DOOR
We very much enjoyed the selection of groups, but we didn't feel that The Happenings belonged in this particular show.
2 performers sang long songs that were not in my opinion doo wops. That's what we paid to hear. On many of the songs, the band's music over rode the singers voice. I want to hear the singer not the loud music. And I thought the artists would all sing the version we all know and love and not some other rendition. I attended the Spring doo wop and it was much better.
As always the groups were fantastic. So many groups with songs we love at an affordable price.
this is the kind of music thats makes you feel good and thats what makes it great!
Everything, quality entertainment, affordable pricing, great location, accessible parking. Consistently wonderful performances. The option of afternoon performances.
during the show the sound didnt seem as of high quality as other concerts that i have attended.
I am a big fan of Jimmy Clanton, having worked in radio in the Toronto area. It was great that he waited afterward to meet people in the lobby. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Show was great.
Especially liked The Happenings, Peggy March & Jimmy Clanton
We thought the overall program and selection of guests was very good.
What fun! All the stars were great and brought back many happy memories. Thanks for not forgetting the older generation!
Please keep Buddy Holly's Crickets in the Doo Wop line-ups
Great choice of entertainers, we would have loved it if the show was a half hour longer.
Each act was excellent.
WE SAW A DOO-WOOP SHOW AT THE LYRIC IN BALTIMORE AND YOUR SOUND AND SHOW WAS MUCH BETTER
Beautiful auditorium, great accoustics
NOT ENOUGH AISLE LIGHTING DURING SHOW HAD TO TRIP OVER PEOPLES FEET, FEELING MY WAY TO RESTROOM.
Excellent in every way.
It was a fabulous show!!! It's always good to hear the oldies and actually be there when they are singing.
bought the tickets over a year ago and was not disappointed!
Especially enjoyed Emil Stucchio and the Classics and Peggy March
We come to all your Doo Wop shows and we loved this lasted one.
the artists all sounded VERY IMPRESSIVE and really put forth their best efforts
Show was fantastic all around! Every group was great.
We have attended sevreal Doo Wop shows and always enjoy them. This was just what we expected!
Some of the acts are recurring. Some of the jokes and songs repetitive.
Great acts, good length, GREAT MC
This was our first Doo Wop show that we have attended althought we have been members for many years. Enjoyed it enough to order tickets for the spring Doo Wop show this morning.
A couple of the acts - the sound wasn't as good as the others.
Always great shows
Every group was exceptional. That is why I would have liked a few more songs from some that had only 3 numbers. Maybe not so many groups and more songs from each.
Would like more do wop music
We went to see our cousin Peggy March and were not disppointed. It was good to make a reaquaintance after so many years.
Very nice variety of performers. Superior M.C.!!! Especially liked Crickets and Jimmy Stanton. Great theater with good sight lines, comfortable seats.
Everyone was excellent in their performances, but in some cases I wanted to hear more of their popular songs, i.e. Little Peggy March. The ending was kinda weird, as the last group just said "thank-you" & that was it. The host never came back out.
I am handicapped and we enjoy your theater because it is handicap accessible.
These doo wop shows are excellent. Brings back lots of memories.
Loved the acts----excellent-wish it could have been even longer
Would have been 5 stars, but not sure how "The Happenings" got involved in a Doo Wop concert?
This was my first visit to AMT and thoroughly enjoyed it.....I look forward to returning....I was especially impressed with the number of groups that were available for autographs and pictures after the performance.
Love the oldies....Lou Christie, Johnny Tillitson, Duprees, I could go on and on....The Doo Wop shoes are awesome!
My husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law are so enjoying our visits to AMT. Each time we see a show, we end up purchasing tickets to another show. The people at AMT are all so nice and friendly. We always comment that the whole world should be as pleasant as AMT is!
well organized & on time
Enjoyable night. Never disappointed with the Doo Wop Cavalcade. We look forward to the next one.
Shows in the past have been better.
It was wonderful, Bringing back a lot of memories !!
Just a wonderful group of performers. They were truly glad to be there and put 100% into the show. What a trip down memory lane! Made me feel like 16 again.
