The show was excellent and all the performers did such a great job. Really brought a person back to that time in their life. The children had a lot to do with that, only someone living through that time understood what the childrens parts meant to the audiance. I remember acting just like the performers (children) when I was that age. Thanks for the memory booster.

Must say that Charlotte and Joseph went out of their way to do what they could for us. As we are in our mid 80's it was much appreciated. I had a code that I received in an email for our anniversary but when I went to the concession they said I was wrong, I was like okay, dont worry about it - but Joseph went out of his way to get help from others and my husband and I were able to get our snack. We always have a great experience their and the show was great!!!!! Looking forward to Xmas show.

excellent show....,but "family w/ kids were a distraction.

you lost me on the Frank Sanatra tribute. didn't like it. some parts of the show were great, some ok and some did not live up to the level of excellence that I've come to expect at AMT. The Country show was much better.

American Icons without the Beach Boys? I know you can't include all the American music legends in a two hour show, but no Beach Boys is like doing a British Icons without the Beatles or the Stones. Still liked the show, however.

The night I was at the show, everything was foggy, I even asked the usher, and he said that the wasn't sure why it so foggy either because it wasn't supposed to be like that. Also I didn't think that the guy that did the Elvis part was that good.

The whole first act was excellent! The beginning of the second act seemed to drag a little but it came back together for the last quarter of the show.

My 3 friends were here from Florida and all of us had a wonderful experience at AMT. Super talent and a very warm feeling,above 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful show ,Jane M. Brubach and my friends

American Icons was simply the BEST of the AMT original shows we've seen over the years... had we seen it earlier in its run, we would have come back to experience it a second time.

Best rendition of song "My Way"! Also enjoyed "New York,New York" and singer Wess Cooke. Costumes, dancers, singers and band were all very talented and entertaining. Definitely will be back, hopefully for Christmas show.

The show was truly amazing. The kids in the show made it more of a show rather than a concert. They were great. I wish they would have incorporated more of the kids singing Sonny and Cher, they were awesome. Overall my all time favorite AMT original show. All the shows are wonderful, but this one was over the top.

This was one of my favorite AMT original shows. I love them all, but this was truly amazing. The singing and dancing was awesome.

Let me tell you... I dont really know how to use a computer. But after seeing the 'American Icons' show on Thursday (10/4) I made my wife, Martha, show me how to use this thing. The show was AMAZING!!! I really enjoyed the song selection and all the performances!!! Over the rainbow had to be my favorite performance and all the dancing was phenomenal throughout the entire show! I especially liked the saxophone solo at the end of the show.... it gave me goosebumps! Great job! I cannot wait to see the Christmas Show!

Enjoyed it very much, except the Elvis part, but then I am not a huge fan of Elvis. This show brought back a lot of memories and I knew the words to all of them so this made it a lot of fun. Dancers were EXCELLENT, being one myself I really enjoyed them. I can also relate to a lot of the people that were on Bandstand at one time or another for I went to a lot of their shows in person. It was a GREAT night for me. Thanks and keep up the good work. See you at a Christmas Show.

The show was great.... If there was a weakness, it was, for me, in the Elvis segment. I was lost at the end of that segment. Still enjoyed it, but it was not as sensational as the rest of the show.

I have been to all of your house shows over the last 5 years and have to say this was the first time I was dissapointed. Show seemed very choppy and some of the songs were not matched up with the best singer.Thought the Manilow song was way off key and was disappointed we didnt get real singers to do the Sonny and Cher song. I honestly find having the kids in these shows( other then Christmas) a bit distracting and takes away from the professionalim of the show. Having kids running all over the stage is not my idea of entertainment. Wes as always is absolutely awesome and did Billy Joel better then Billy himself. Lead male and female dancers are incredible always enjoy their energy and passion they put into their dancing. Unfortunatly this show did not do it for me.

Live entertainment at its best! The show was a perfect balance of the classics as well as newer renditions. I really enjoyed that the show was not all about impersonations of our American Icons. I really respected the tribute element of the show. Especially since the show is advertised as a tribute show! Impersonaters can be a disappointment. So I totally loved tributing the artists rather than trying to be them completely . I love a new twist on classic things. Andrea Mccormick does it well. The dancers are breath taking and the vocalists are better than Broadway! The musicians bring unbelievable talent and energy. The show is magical to say the least. Thank you for the wonderful experience American Music Theatre. If you don't see the show, you will be missing out in a huge way.

Each one of your special shows seems to get better than the last! The variety of musical arrangements within each performance is what appeals most to us. Can't wait for the next one!

We were slightly disappointed with the musical selections. Perhaps mistakenly we thought there would be more 50s and 60s ballads. The show was faster paced than we would have liked but was well done for the most part. A few songs were "jazzed up" beyond the original renditions and some songs originally sung by males were sung by females. We didn't think the children added much to the show but didn't object either. All in all it was a nice show -- just not exactly what we expected. We enjoyed the country/western show earlier this summer more.

I personally do not care for the screechy Aretha Franklin type songs, and there were a lot by others than ARetha Franklin. Even the last "patriotic" song was not as enjoyable as it could have been. I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned, but I like the "old-fashioned" way of singing. The tendency to make too many songs like hard rock is not appealing to me. I probably wouldn't go to another American Icons show, although it WAS quite diverse. I'd rather selectively choose ones I like, such as Johnny Cash and Elvis, etc.

What a great show! We were there on a Tuesday afternoon and couldnt stop jumping out of our seats! We wish we saw more of the children. What talented kids! That Cher was an amazing singer and actress. We couldnt belive you found talent in Lancaster like her! Michelle "My way" was incredible. Looking forward to the Christmas show. I hope you have those kids in it too!

The cast was as great as ever, but the addition of the children was an awesome decision. We have seen the kids before and always enjoy them.

I loved all the costume changes to represent the singers and the era.

Outstanding! The voices of the cast was amazing. The variety throughout the show was wonderful. And quality and designs of the gowns, shoes, etc. was a site to behold. We found the enter show a real pleasure. A really pleasurable presentation of music for all ages. We will see you again.

Julie aned Michelle sang fantastic together at singing Judy Garland and Streisand. Keith Adams was tremendous with everything he sang,. Surprised how he did soo great at a Barry Manillow song, and he did it. Kudos to the Franki Valli guys-fabulous job. Now who didnt sing enough and was your best was Wess Cooke, Wess' talent is phenominal at each and every performance. Ever think about having him go solo? He's your top performer.

The singers , dancers, and band were all excellent. Show was over before we knew it, It was that great.

The song selection for some of the Icons was good. Example: Roy Orbitson was performed by a girl and was not one of his top hits. (Pretty Woman)

The musicians, dancers and singers are excellent. We enjoy all of your shows. We wish you would take it on the road because we are 7 hours away.

Very boring

After seeing Country Classics, at its best, I thought it would be hard to top that one. And what a letdown. You had talent there, but wrong people singing the songs. Females singing male songs, and too many dancers taking away from the singers. It was too many people running around and lacked the expertise that I had expected. This show was ok, but nowhere like Country Classics.

Overall, the first half was better than the second half. Really enjoyed the Elvis segment, and the guy has the moves down phenomenally. But that segment ended with a crazy, meaningless downer, for no good reason. The second half seemed to have a lot of slow, boring numbers, and then went abruptly into the finale. In general I love your reviews, and I hope you will continue to schedule them every year.

Loved the songs and the costumes!

The screaming (singing) is way too loud, the tune is not recognisable. Only recognized one song "I did it my way" after my husband told me.

The Aretha Franklin song was horrible. It should have been sung by one person, not 3. It destroyed the song and you could not hear the words with 3 singers going on at the same time.

Felt it was more of a show showcasing songs and not singers. Caucasin performers doing Black stars' songs, female performers doing male stars' songs, e.g. Roy Orbison should be done by a male voice. The extensive choreography/dancing was unnecessary in a show billed to feature singing.

Melanie's rendition of Tina Turner was outstanding. We have never heard Wes sing better, and Michelle as usual was great. The energy of the cast was unbelievable.

Never disappointed at American Music theatre in the past. As for American Icons, very disappointing in some respects. The opening was terrific and the dancers were great.Thought that the Elvis, Michael Jackson & Sonny & Cher parts of the show were lacking and that the Elvis segment male singer didn't sound at all like Elvis. The constant running around the stage with the spotlight was very distracting and annoying. Six in my party and although show started off great it was somewhat disappointing. Never thought an American Icon Show would feature two children performing Sonny & Cher although they were talented usually a show has idols represented by age appropriate performers.

I had a tall man in front of me which blocked my view of the show. I had to keep moving my head and moving myself to the edge of my seat to see the prefprmers on stage which made it very unconfortable to fully enjoy the show.

Andrea has once again outdid herself with this show....great song selection. Michele hits a homerun with her version of My Way...Wess's Neil Diamond songs would make Neil proud to hear them done by Wess. Julie did a great Judy Garland and her and Michele made a great team as Judy and Barbara....a must see show....you will enjoy from start to finish.

Great show! Best part was Michelle singing "My Way." You gave me goosebumps, Michelle! Also really enjoyed Wess singing Neil Diamond. The band was fabulous as always. Mike Lambertson played some really sweet violin melodies that really added to the songs. Only thing I would say could improve upon the show would be a true "crooner" for the Sinatra songs.

I loved every minute of the show. Amazing vocals by Julie,Michelle and Wess as always. Melanie has a powerhouse voice and perfect pitch. The band was great. All of the vocalists did a good job. I loved seeing Michael, who normally plays the violin, play a bit of keys and percussion. His violin part in Julies numbers and I can't help falling in love were awesome. The dancers were so fun to watch. Corey is my favorite dancer to watch perform. I tend to disagree with the sound being to loud, it sounds perfectly fine to me. Would definitely see this again and recommend this to others.

Fantastic show with an incredibly talented cast. Many pieces were better than the original cuts and the choreography was great.
The only problem was a sound system cranked beyond its capabilities and driven to distortion, so bad at times the singers voices were nothing more than static. It is a real shame to have a awesome, powerful voice lost to electronic limitation.

One of the best ever shows that we have enjoyed at the AMT. Really awesome performers....singers, dancers, and musicians. Sets are always beautiful.

The singers were really wonderful as usual but the dancing was often jerky and not the usual quality I have experienced with the other original shows I have attended. I usually bring more than one group of friends as I love your original shows but this one just wasn't up to your usual standard.

As a fiest time visitor to this establishment I was most impressed with the customer service. All of the staff treated the attendees as if they were family. They were curteous, and jovial. I would recommend this theatre to my friends in Baltimore, Maryland!!!

I saw it on opening night and enjoyed it so much I brought my grandchildren and daughter in law to see it . The music relates to any age group. They enjoyed it as much as I did but didn't know all the words to the songs like I did.

I thought the rendition of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and "Proud Mary" were the best I've ever heard anywhere.

Excellent performances , high energy and great voices--but TOO LOUD

The sound is way TOO LOUD. I wear earplugs and it was just right, but couldn't hear all the highs/lows. WHY are ALL the concerts SO LOUD? WHY the BRIGHT LIGHTS FLASHING that discolor the beautiful colored lights on the curtains, etc? It does NOTHING for the experience. We are not 15 years old anymore.

at many times, the stage was too "busy" with dancers, props and bright flashes of lights which distracted from the singer. The modern dance number that accompanied the final Elvis song was VERY strange. I had thoroughly enjoyed the country show earlier this summer. "Icons" seemed to be trying too hard to impress.

Just loved the music and dancing. The music choices were right on but would have loved to hear more of Barbra Streisand in addition to duet with Judy Garland. I was disappointed with Barry Manilow selection as there others that are more well known and the rendition of Weekend in New England was not true to how the song was sung by Barry. It was way too dramatic and not gentle and sensitive as it could have been. I loved Frankie Valli & Four Seasons and Neil Diamond. Ms. Kern was fantastic on the saxophone! My favorite dancer is Corey Campbell. I saw him in Dance Explosion and think he is the epitome of what a dancer should be. Your singers are all terrific too! I look forward to next year's show. My husband and I come out here every summer and have enjoyed four shows so far. Keep up the great performances!

The show was absolutely outstanding in every possible way. Song selections were great, vocals were great, band was excellent. Very nice to see the guys in suit and tie, girls gowns were beautiful. The AMT productions keep getting better and better. We keep returning to AMT,never disappointed!

All the singers/performers were very professional, and I enjoyed listening and watching them all immensely!
Great choice of songs and range of performers in the past eras!I would definitely go see this again. I just couldn.t imagine a couple of the females portraying male entertainers.
That was the only downfall of the show.

The children perfoming Sonny and Cher- too much! We woul dhave perferred some comedy intermingled into the show!

THE PERFORMERS COULDN'T BE ANY BETTER. THEY WERE GREAT

Seating does not have adequate slope. Could not see all of stage from back rows.

The show itself was excellent. The sound needs some work. I was in P 315 and there were times that the sound was so looud that I could not make out the words of the music. The higher notes of the women were particularly ttroublesome when using the hand neld mikes. The smaller mikes were OK. Maybe they need some training on the Handhelds. Sometimes the band drowned out the singers. One note on the piano was particularly loud. total sound level could be lowered a little.

The 3 female singers were exceptional. I enjoyed all their performances. Also their costumes were beautiful.

I did not enjoy the kids portion of the show - Sonny and Cher would have been much better performed by adults. Although the kids are talented, I feel slightly cheated by having time taken away from the more mature performers.

Great singers, dancers, and band!

WOW!

Wonderful talent - vocalists, dancers and musicians alike!! In some instances, the vocalists portrayed the icons extremely well.

Dancing, singing and music blended professionally. Excellent show that brought us back.

Saw show yesterday and was under the impression the songs would be sung by same gender people. A woman singing MY WAY by Frank Sinatra and a woman singing Crying by Roy Orbison?? It just wasn't right but I guess I thought the singers would at least try and look the part. Neil Diamond and 4 Seasons were the best. Also too much lights and crazy dancing.

Awesome show with a great cast. As usual the band was great and the cast the best around! Can't wait to see it again!

What a great show. Wes did a great job as always and Michelle also did a wonderful job. Both are wonderful singers! The dancing was great and Sonny and Cher was good also. A must see, it makes you want to sing and your toes will be tapping.

Fast moving music, great choreography, music and instrumentals. Really enjoyed "Cher" Thanks for a wonderful evening.

This show was fun, entertaining and made me want to get out of my seat and Dance!!! The cast and crew of American Icons really know how to Party!!!

If you get the chance to see this show I highly recommend it, it's fun no matter what age you are!!

This show is a must see, the song selections are wonderful, the dancers and singers are great. I Am I Said by Wes was great, you have to see Sonny & Cher. We loved this show and the original shows just keep getting better and better!
