American Music Theatre

We have been attending the AMT Christmas shows since the opening of the Theatre. It is amazing to see the progress through the years. I loved seeing the children & WESS & MICHELE NEVER DISAPPOINT:) I especially enjoyed the arrangement on O Holy Night as a contrast to a female solo.
There were times, however, that the sound was somewhat garbled but all in all a Wonderful show.

We come each year and bring our parents--what a joy it is!!! It is wonderful to still see shows that proclaim the real reason for the season--the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Also, to share in the good times of being with family and friends and to honor those that are serving in the military unable to be home for the holidays!! Thank you!!

Preferred shows in previous years better

We really enjoyed the second half. The first half seemed like the cast was forcing themselves to be happy and upbeat. It didn't seem natural. The second half was excellent.

What we loved was the quality singing by the actors and actresses!

It was beautiful to look at and to listen to. So well done in every aspect - vocals, dancing, costumes, scenery, song choice and the kids add a nice touch.

Have been to Christmas shows all over the East Coast. This was one of the best!

I have been going to your shows for many, many years. This is the first time I actually hated part of the show....too many kids and not enough good old time Christmas music. Won't be coming next year.

My only complaint is charging the convenience fee when you order online or the phone!

The show is very good but the sound was not good. At first I thought I was having difficulty hearing the words because I do have a hearing problem. But when I mentioned to my husband, who has been a professional musician for over 40 years he said it wasn't me but that the audio had the background microphones to high. We both had difficulty hearing some of the singing and the speaking lines were really hard to understand. We love the songs, the music and the performers are all really good but please work on the sound set-up.

Wonderful show! Exceptional voices!!

Enjoyed the entire show.

We liked the song selections, and the overall presentation. The sound level was fine. We were in the second row, center, in the balcony and the seats were great.

You couldn't hear the words of a lot of songs when the orchestra was playing. It was bouncing off of the walls in the first row of the balcony.

This was probably the best Christmas show I have ever been to.

This was our 4th Christmas show and it was the best yet.

The show itself was amazing. The only thing that could have made the experience even better is if the usher would have not allowed people down the aisles while the performers where in the middle of a song.

We loved the idea that we were welcomed into your home when the doors were opened.

The show was excellent...such talent and energy...and all so appropriate...wonderful!!

Each Christmas seems to get better and better

Our 8th Christmas Show in a row and one of the best so far - we were thinking of going to go to a show at some other venue just "for a change" - glad we didn't! Thoroughly professional and highly entertaining production - as always! My wife says I need to see the show to put me in the Christmas spirit every year...

excellent production.

The sound was terribly over amplified. The second act, Candyland, had no connection to Christmas. The intermission skit was pointless anda Little embarrassing.

We thought the show was very slow moving and did not have any story line to it. We left early. Very disappointed.

Once again it was outstanding. My wife and I brought our three year old twin grandson's. I'm hoping to start a tradition.

Truly broadway level....only opportunity is traffic leaving. Wes Cooke is tremendous!

Great performance and my children loved speaking with the performers and having there pictures taken after the show.

The entire 2nd half of the show was disappointing. The "candy workshop" portion was poorly arranged and poorly sung. The "modern dance" piece in the middle of the a Christmas song was also disconcerting. While the comedy routine from the "little girl" was entertaining, the second half of the show was mainly painful. We have been to many of your Christmas shows over the years and I was stunned by the poor production and quality of this show.

Not a bad seat in the house! Great talent. Wonderful show that kept our attention. We've been coming for about 10 years and I think we say this every year...but this was probably the best show we've seen!!!! Thank you for a spectactular program. I feel like it honored the Christian faith of this county too!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed all the scenes and talented performers, music and combination of all Christmas songs.

It was our first time, we all were pleasantly surprised, there are were 10 of us. The only suggestion we have is it was way too loud.

Absolutely loved the entire show. Such great talent...the gentleman in the lead was fantastic!! Also loved all of the children. Props and scenery was excellent. Orchestra was stellar, too. Just loved everything about it! Drove 3 hours each way and it was really worth it. I brought family members who also loved it!

My wife and I have been attending the Christmas Show for many years. Two years ago, we started bringing our two young daughters. It is now a family Christmas tradition that we look forward to every year.

Too many child skits not as good as old shows from the past (again) There use to be costume/ and set changes a lot but not anymore ?( due to the economy)We didn't really like the whole candy theme

The show was fabulous!

The only thing we weren't thrilled about was the jazzed up and type of dancing to the sacred Christmas songs

Personally, I like to hear more Christmas carols sung in the traditional way and a bit more acapella.

The usual outstanding show was for some reason not near as good. The show seemed centered to the very young. We realize there were a lot of children used and they were very good but a lot of the musical selections and the segment about the candyland and Santas home seemed a little more for the children. The last part of the show seemed to have the audience more captivated with the beautiful holiday music.

We were amazed by the detail of each number. In particular, the 12 Days of Christmas was incredibly choreographed, and the costuming and set was absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful show, great music, great singing and we really enjoyed the Spiritual meaning that was presented.

The show was over the top. Gorgeous costumes,upbeat,lighting extraordinary, actors,singing,children participation ALL excelled my expectations. From the ticket desk ,seating attendants to gift shop cashiers - just genuine best.

Great Show this side of Broadway. As a matter of fact, as good and better than some of the NYC shows.

We enjoyed this format! The vocals were outstanding! Tha sets and costumes were fabulous! The orchestra and the features were wonderful! We especially enjoyed the violinist!

The entire production was great. I loved Michelles "little girl bit" and always have.

While it is nice to see the children, at times it is hard to understand them.

I didn't like the first half at all..It was just a chaotic mess.

Glad you went back to the traditional Christmas show format. Did not attend the show last year because we were so disappointed in the 2010 show. This year it was great. However at times the band overpowered the singers.

I thought it was great so much like it should be like in this crazy world of today.

We have seen several of the Christmas shows and this was our least favorite. There was an enormous amount of rapid activity. We thought that the sound system was so loud that words were often distorted and hard to understand. There was very little of the traditional songs-as most were rearranged.

Saw the show three times (Nov 21, Dec 17 and 20th) and brought groups each time. Best Christmas Show anywhere. The talent was amazing, the chosen songs, the scenery everything... was first rate. Have been a member two years and plan to continue many years more. Am a subscriber to every other theater in the area..Totempole, Rainbow, Allenberry, Dutch Apple...but your shows even surpass those I see on Broadway. You definitely bring Christmas to those who attend. Looking forward to your 2013 shows.

The voices were outstanding, the orchestra great, and the costumes and choreography were the best.

This show had the best format. Better than in the past few years. The show last year didn't hold the attention of my 6 yr old grandson. If I had known how much of this yr. show had children, I would have brought him back.

I was disappointed in the songs sung in the beginning of the show and the Santa's Candyland songs.

The only thing I was a bit negative about was the LARGE role of the children. They're OK in small doses. Sound like an old geezer, huh?

It is so nice to have a Christmas show that is almost all Christmas carols. We really enjoyed the show, however, please do not include the Little Girl scene again.. Also, the children's candy sequence got a little long, without Christmas music. It was nice to have the children participate and see the dancers, but it could have been a bit shorter . The dining room table scene at the beginning was fun to watch, with all the movements going on.

The first half had two many performers doing too much at once and it seemed chaotic. The same with the candy scene in the second half. The rest was excellent. However, very disturbed by the soldier who appeared suddenly with a large bag. After recent events, it was very unsettling. He just appeared and I didn't think he was part of the show as there was no spotlight on him.

FIRST TIME AT YOUR CHRISTMAS SHOW. I THOUGHT I WAS WATCHING A NEW YORK PERFORMANCE. THE COSTUMES AND THE SETS WERE EXECPTIONAL, BUT THE VOICES AND THE ORCHESTRA WERE PHENOMENAL!

Outstanding as usual! Difficult to understand the songs the children were singing because they seemed to be screaming.

Never had a bad experience at AMT. all employees are helpful, knowledgable, friendly. Building is beautiful. Restrooms are clean. Prices are affordable.

The second act was excellent, but we didn't like the 1st act. Scenery and costumes were wonderful but it didn't hold our interest.

great best xmas show ever

The date was the most convenient for us. This is the best show.

Really enjoyed the children's participation in the show. This was our 4th year back, and I can't wait to see Michelle's skits every year. Can't wait until next year. She better not go anywhere.

Professional, entertaining and so colorful. Also, the fact that often several things were happening on stage made it all the more interesting.

The first half I really enjoyed. The top of the second half (candyland) was to long. Even our grand-daughter said about it. The rest of the show was great.

How dissapointing after having a phenominal Christmas show last year. Last years show was a dramatic change from the drastic show back in 2010. This years choreography was poor and the talents you have, were not utilized enough. The children were the main roles and the professionals you have there were barely used. Felt like I was watching a childrens matinee. The candy scenes-too long and boring. Nothing spectacular as in 2011. Very poor this year.

I thought it was a splendid show! The kids really made the show fun to watch. We went Dec. 2. It really does bring the Christmas spirit!! MUST SEE!!!

My wife and I have been to every Christmas show at AMT and both think that they are consistantly excellent. We thought that the scenery last year was slightly nicer but the quality of the talent and their performances was again excellent. I especially like the inclusion of so many traditional songs in the program. So many productions feel they have to be "artsy" and perform songs that no one has ever heard before. Thank you for your excellent selection of music.

We saw the show last year as well, and I enjoyed this year's show more. There seemed to be more going on onstage this year, keeping the show interesting. The dancers were really good, and the vocalists and musicians, as usual,were wonderful. A show that could be corny is not because of the level of talent of the cast.

Wonderful show featuring an extremely talented cast and musicians. Not a clunker in the bunch. Special recognition to the woman who sang Jesu. Her voice was pure and angelic.

Outstanding! I've seen the Christmas show at AMT at least six times in the past and this was the best ever. The song selections, costuming, and performers were top notch. I especially enjoyed the 12 Days of Christmas. The arrangement of Ave Maria was unique. I'm really in the Christmas spirit!

We were in the balcony and sometimes the sound system was not up to power. We had a hard time understanding the lyrics, especially with the children

I enjoyed the music/dancing and thought the performers were excellent. My daughter and her friend (both 11) were pretty much bored through the first half. They enjoyed the comic relief at the beginning of the second act, but they soon got restless after that. WE had attended the show for several years when the girls were younger and I remember there being more 'fun' parts to it back then.

Last years show was good but this year it was great. We brought our three teen-age grandsons and they really enjoyed it. They have been coming with us since elementary school.

It was our first time at AMT and we both thought it was great.

Everything was outstanding. Right down to the ushers who took a few minutes to chat.

We have enjoyed the in-house staff shows as much, or sometimes, better than the traveling shows. This show did not disappoint.

We think it may have been the best ever. I, personally, liked that it kinda told a story like the first couple did. My husband and I have been to every one of the Christmas Shows (we still go to the show for our anniversary, 50 years this year.) I liked the fact that most of the religious songs were done at the end (after all HE is the reason for the season.)

Great seats and very entertaining

I felt that it was a little bit slow at the beginning and end. My children ages 10 and 11 became bored. The middle of the show was the most entertaining and upbeat.

Who knew in Lancaster one could find such showmanship and Christmas spirit.

this is our second year to see the show and we intend to make it a Christmas tradition

Professional acting did not lack, however, almost all of the show seemed like it was geared for the youth. I like the second part of the show.

Fast paced great storyline

Performers were absolutely fabulous! Such gifted singers!

One of the best shows I have seen at AMT! The songs were fantastic.

Did not like the Candy Land section at the beginning of Act II at all. Also, did not care for the solo about "Didn't I Get That Last Year" with the female vocalist.

Overall it was a wonderful show. This is our 6th time to see the show and we will continue to attend each year. One comment - I thought the show dragged a little in the middle of Act I when there were maybe 5-6 songs in a row with the same slower tempo, but everything else was great.

we have been attending the Christmas show for quite a few years. I think it is time to retire the scene with the little girl and the big chair. That is really getting old. I think the part with the children before this scene was enough to entertain any children.

The show was 100% better then it was 2 years ago.

The voices of the cast and the choreography and outfits were phenomenal. I was pleasantly surprised that the religious aspect (the true meaning of Christmas) was incorporated into the show.

The music and child and adult performances were out of the ordinary.

Everything was sensational! The singers, dancers, children, sets...everything!! Andy Roberts is a phenomenal musician and director! All the band was tremendous! What a gift!!

High quality voices and acting

i felt some of the production (12 days of Christmas, part of toy segment) was just too busy on the stage - too much going on to concentrate

The show was what we expected as marked above. Thank you for returning to the traditional program. The last show we attended was that awful contemporary one a couple of years ago. Thanks so much for the over-sized post card informing us you returned to the regular traditional format. Upon receipt I immediately ordered six tickets.

Last year I sent you an email stating that I felt the quality of the Christmas show had gone down over the last few years. My wife and I were both extremely please with the show this year. We felt it was outstanding.

The show was wonderful. The performers were excellent. Really enjoyed the children and their first rate perforances.

The opening was confusing - the candy skit a little too busy for me. My husband loved it.

SPECTACULAR

This might be the best one yet!

First half was too "busy". The shows of late have become too contemporary. Needs more comedy and some "rockette" like numbers

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire production. It was a fabulous show and fabulous band!

It was very hard to understand any speaking parts--especially the "little girl". I always enjoy her so much but up in the balcony it is difficult to understand her. She is a hoot!

We enjoyed every minute of the show. The performed are so talented and we loved the high energy of this performance. Great show! Looking forward to coming back next year.

I thought the 2nd act beginning with the Candy act was too long and drawn out.

Talented, hard working cast, wish there could have been a little more appeal to children

One of the male performers came to our seats (in the back row) and spoke to my four young granddaughters shortly before the show started. They were thrilled!!! He told them he would be "singing to them"! It was a very kind and thoughtful gesture and made the show even more memorable.

we didn't care much for act 1 or the candy part of act 2, very juvenile. the ending was wonderful.

Quality of singers, musicians and dancers is excellent, even the sets!!

When you can entertain and mesmerize an active two year old for 2 olds, that's greatness!!! Awesome show! Thank you!

Wonderful singers and decorations

The adult voices have so much to offer--I understand for the kids in the audience --but our group was dissapointed from prior years

Because we were in extreme side seats, it was hard to follow all of the action going on at once - it was quite "busy" during several scenes from that perspective.

I liked pass shows better the second half was better than the first, when they would mix things up more.

I have been to every show since the very first year. I think this one was better that the previous 3.

I felt it was geared to children more this year

The first half was borderline "boring."

All the actors and actresses were exceptional. They all did an excellent performance.

I feel it was too much singing and there was no story line to follow, it was very boring and I did not stay for the second act, I was hoping it was more of a play and not a musical.

Best Show to date

The whole package- song selections, performers, sets, lights, costumes, musicians- were fantastic when put together!

I was one row behind the center walkway and there was an opening for wheelchairs in front of me. You had accomodated an extra gues by sitting them right in front of me on a regular chair that put that person 8" higher than regular seating and completely blocked my view! I had to strain sideways for the entire show.

Very professional and excellent music programming

Especially liked the child singing I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, not an adult as a child!

Brought two children ages 8 and 5. Both really loved the candy skit and the upbeat sounds. Incorporating kids on the stage was entertaining to the younger kids in the audience.

We enjoyed the show very much and recommend it very highly to everyone.

The only thing I dislike about the Christmas Show is that I have to wait another year. All the Christmas shows have been very good in the past, but this year, the year was excellent.

I see all the special AMT shows including the Christmas show for the last 11years. LOVE them all and I know kids are a big part of Christmas......but in this show a bit too much. The sd ond half off the show was wonderful.......the first half Ok. Shelly of course is always a delight.

I felt the 1st half should have had a story line like other years, It seemed like it was just singing one Christmas song after another.

I enjoyed the show very much, but I brought my 6 year old granddaughter thinking it would have a lot she would be interested in seeing. Unfortunately it didn't. She became quite bored with show and was ready to leave before it ended.

All seats in AMT are really good. We love sitting int the balcony but sometimes lose the audio clarity. It was hard at times deciding what Mrs. Clause said in her skit.

I felt there were too many songs done by the children and the candy theme was a little long.

The singers and dancers were terrific! The stage was beautifully decorated, and the seats were very roomy and comfortable. Loved the cup holders, too!

We enjoyed the show immensely but did feel a couple of the microphones were a little too loud and distorted some of the vocals.

This show was the best one of all the Christmas shows. Last year's was great. This year's was better. Very well diversified with both sacred and secular music. KEEP THIS STYLE.

Over-all, uplifting

Great selection of music and all of the performers had excellent voices. The children were exceptionally good and I loved the violinist. The sets and lighting were beautiful, as were the costumes.

My husband and I felt the show was the best we have ever seen. We were so moved. Thank you so much for an awesome show.......

Too much singing during the first half of the show and not enough action, comedy and skits.

Every aspect of the experience right down to the visit to the rest room was stress free, even had someone assisting in the concession stand line-everyone SO very helpful!

Did not enjoy the "candy" segment

Was glad that there was a little story and not just singing--I had grandchildren with me and they needed that--it would be good to have one in each segment.

THE SHOW WAS GOOD BUT IT HAD TOO MANY KIDS IN IT, IT WAS DISTRACTING TO SEE KIDS UNDER THE TABLE GETTING SHOES FROM MICHELLE AND RUNNING ALL OVER THE STAGE, THAT KIND OF RUNNING AROUND BY THE KIDS TAKES AWAY FROM THE BEAUTIFUL VOICES OF THE ADULTS. KEEP THE KIDS IN SCHOOL SHOWS NOT AT ADULT PERFORMANCES.

Keep the great shows coming. You do an awesome job each year of mixing variety in your shows. Of course, I like the Christian flavor the best but the entire show is wonderful.

We arrived early and were greeted with an almost "heavenly" chorus singing Christmas music from the balcony! They created a relaxed environment as the beginning of an even more delightful show! The cast created a marvelous setting for both secular and sacred Christmas ambiance - and we decided to definitely make this our annual gift to ourselves. Thanks for the memories and for keeping Christ in Christmas !!!!!

I read all of the reviews on this website. With that said I have been to every original AMT Christmas show. I find it very hard to see why some audience members that post a review point out some of the most ridiculous things that they didn't "like". The word "like" is an extremely vague word, so I will give a thorough review of the show. The show was absolutely extraordinary. There is something for everyone of any age in the show. The show absolutely brings the true meaning of Christmas as well as the reality for adults and the magic and fun for children. For those of you that say you didn't stay for the second half YOUR review doesn't completely count in my opinion and what a waste of money for you. How do you know that you didn't miss exactly what you were looking for. THE AMERICAN MUSIC THEATRE'S 2012 Christmas show is amazing. So for those of you that didn't feel the same way and especially those who say they left after the first act. It's hard for you to have an opinion at all. Not to mention you didn't get your monies worth. My point is that the show is magical and you can not have an opinion if you didn't see the entire show. Oh and by the way it's live theatre. Here's a thought.... Go see the Rockettes show in NYC. I bet there are those of you that will be running back to the AMERICAN MUSIC THEATRE to find the true meaning of Christmas. Needless to say, the talent at AMT is amazing and I can't imagine why anyone would say otherwise.

This was our fourth time seeing the Christmas Show. We absolutely loved it and thought it was the best show! Thanks for a wonderful Christmas Show as we loved it.

Superb vocals, excellent orchestra, especially the violinist. I could have done without the amplified drummer. Drowned out the voices which is what I wanted to hear. The entire production was a joy to watch.

Too much childrens performances. we are senior citizens and we enjoy old time favorite Christmas songs. We did not enjoy all the hoopla for kids. Your show last year was much better. We like Mary did you know and other traditional songs. I heard from other friends that went and they didn't like it either. The last 15 minutes was the best.

Our seats were way to close to the stage. My neck hurt by the end. The actual show was good but I would have liked a little more variety. Less singing and more dancing, comedy, and other things.

Terrific show as always

We liked the show so much the first time we saw it that we came back with my kids and my parents. My girls are teenagers and even they were impressed which isn't an easy thing to do with a teenager!

Actually, we would have rated it 10 stars, but that wasn't an option!!

The three female sopranos were excellent as was the male quartet. Lead singer has a wonderful voice and we enjoyed him in tribute show in October. Looking forward to ruture shows.

The singer are very good, as are the dancers. Scenery changes and costumes were colorful. Very pleasant to the eyes.

In ny opinion that large black and white checked floor kept drawing the eyes to it instead of the scenery and players. The main should be the main thing and that should not be that gosh awful floor!. I thought it spoiled the effect.

The theatre was too hot..they should have had some cool air circurting in the place...had to get up & move towards the back where the room was a little cooler..cant sit for all that time & being so hot..there was 4 of us in our group & we all felt the same way

Although the children were fantastic, we felt there was a little too much with the children especially at the beginning of the second act. And the actress who acted as a child although funny, was a little long and maybe something else could be used, we know it was probably to stall time though!

I believe this was he best Christmas Show I have seen. The children added such joy and believing in what Christmas really means.

We had a DELIGHTFUL evening without even a slight disappointment.....THANK YOU

From the moment you walk into AMT it puts you into the Christmas mood. The decorations are beautiful and the staff very friendly.

Eveything was terrific. The staging was beautiful and appropriate to Title and music, enjoyed the childred, the dacing was excellent and the singing was wonderful. My siste and I feel it was the best Christmas show you have had . And the others were terific. I direct the "Reading Pagoda Chorus, of Sweet Adelines", and know what goes in to doing one small show a year I could not image what all it takes for you to put your wonderful shows together.

The only thing I didn't like was there was a man in front of me and I had to keep looking back and forth to see the stage. The person behind me probably didn't appreciate that. Of course this is no fault of AMT. You can't change the height of people attending a show.

I was really happy that Michelle did her little girl routine. I was afraid that it wasn't going to be included. She is really good at that.

I just thought that last years production, show and everything about it was so much better than this year. Too much going on on stage for each song . I just thought the whole production was not nearly as good as laat year including the song selections. I thought the children were just too much of an distraction from the show. I guess I just feel you should review this year compared to last year. I have talk with several people and they feel the same way. BUT, I love coming to AMT!! I just hope that next year's show shows some improvement - go back to last years 2011 show.

Forty five mins. were spent in a crowded, warm, lobby area because of a technical difficulty. People could not advance to their seats and were not pleased!

We enjoyed it...the beginning Act....but didn't care as much about all the children in it.......and we love children......we felt the show was better in the past.........The orchestra was wonderful.

The show was great. I took my 89 yr old Mother and was told to be there 30-45 minutes early. We had to stand until about 2:50 til they opened the doors . They should have let us go in and sit down . Not sure why they told us to be there so early.

We had enough room - balcony section EE - good leg room and did not feel claustrophobic.

First half not as exciting and fun as second half; i.e., same set, same costumes, everyone on set during entire half; variety of second half great!

We did not see the show last year since the one 2 years ago disappointed us. Decided to try AMT again this year, and we were very pleased with the show!

Have never been disappointed in any show I have attended. All have been outstanding.

Arrival at the show was chaotic and un-organized. Show staff were not prepared for the number of coaches that arrived, doors did not open on time, people were left with no room to move and many could not even fit into the building leaving them trapped in entrances and outside in the cold.

Show was great as it always is.

It wasn't entertainng enough. The sets should have changed more, Maybe alittle more kick to the show.. We left early.

Couldn't figure out why Jared wasn't in he second 1/2 of the show. Really enjoy his performances.

The doors to the auditorium could be opened at least 15 minutes earlier to allieviate general crowding in the foyer, to allow older patrons to be seated sooner and to accomodate starting the show on time.

Very professional. Loved the young kids as supporting actors. Sound quality excellent. In the past we have attended events where the background music overpowered the singers, but this time the balance was perfect.

We had to wait to be seated due to technical difficulties and I think we should have been informed of that while we were waiting to be seated late.

I read some of the reviews and wondered if we all were reviewing the same show. 9 years of watching the Christmas shows and we loved every one of them. Love Wes and Michelle as Shelly. Please don't let her get away. We love your summer shows as well. Pittsburgh is not that far away we can't get there to be wonderfully entertained.

We took our 91 year old mother who is still raving about the show! Since her son served our country in Vietnam and was overseas during Xmas, and she lost her husband (after 65 years of marriage) who was a veteran of WWII, the story and music were very touching. The costumes, set design, singing and dancing were awesome! Thanks for a "warm fuzzy" evening!

The Christmas show is always wonderful. But this year there was too much "kid" stuff. I'm sure most of your attendance is adults......too many kids, too much emphasis on kid songs. But, dont ever let Shelly go. We can watch that every year and still laugh. Wess, Michelle, Angela and Ric are great as usual. And Michael is sooooo expressive. Also glad you gave the band their own spotlite.

It's a blessing in this day and age where most media and local communities want to take Christ out of this special season and this show had great songs about Christ.

We thought the show had too many songs with children. It used to have just adults singing and maybe one scene with children. You have talented singers and would like to see more of them. Wes sounds better every year.

My granddaughter absolutely loved the little girl trying to get up on the chair. She laughed out loud.

GREAT show! Will return next year but was unhappy with seating. The slopping of the seats should be more dramatic because it is very hard to see everything on stage. I had to keep moving in my seat to see. Nothing you can do about it but just wanted to let you know.

Great mix of songs - not too over the top on traditional Christmas songs. The comedy with the one person and the large chair was a great mix.

Maybe because we were in the balcony, it was hard to hear and appreciate the music and comedy routine because of the fast talking and high pitched voice. Also, I thought it odd that the serviceman returning home immediately turned his attention to the Christmas Tree instead of his family. He should have sung "I'll be Home for Christmas" in my opinion.

The entire show was excellent. The pace of the show/music was wonderful. There wasn't a lot of "filler", or idle chat, just one great song/performance after another.

Everything was excellent, costumes, decorations, etc. Also, we liked the way the orchestra was set up on the stage. A Beautiful Night, a Great Night out!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful, wholesome entertainment. We brought our 2 granddaughters who enjoyed the show very much. We didn't have to worry about anything negative or inappropriate language.

Individual performances with varying styles and a stronger link to Christmas themes than act 1 where more of the scenes were dance routines linked to a selection of music and songs.

Super show, very detailed in every matter!

I enjoyed the adult performances more so than the kids' performances. I did not time it but I think I would have enjoyed it more if less time was used for the kids. In the past, I have always enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the pretty dresses worn by the female performers. The kid's section just drug on and on. I would not eliminate kids totally, but too much time was spent on the scenes with kids.

We have been attending the Christmas Show for many years and Michelle and Wes are the only ones still remaining. We really miss some of the others.

This show was as excellent as the shows in the past. We did not like the show in 2011...thought it lost the reverence of Christmas in the way the songs were presented. This was wonderful!!

We thought the first set was very boring. Too many slow songs and not very enteraining at all. Not into the yodling tunes. Thought the kids were a nice touch. The part with dinner table was not impressive.

I was absolutely blown away by the performances. The performers were extremely talented. It was just so enjoyable. Having never been to the theatre, it was just a wonderful experience.

This was our 7th Christmas Show. We took our 2 grandsons, ages 7 & 10 this time & they thoroughly enjoyed it as much as we always do.

Been coming to the show for years and this time I wasn't thrilled with the song selections. The traditional songs were nice but made the first half of the show seem long, especially for children. The second half was more diverse which was better.

Act II has some of the songs like candy Cane Lanes that in my opinion would be better replace with different Christmas songs

I do enjoy the x-mas show but I think last years was better. This years first half was getting a little boring. The set stayed the same and actors just singing carols. I'd like to see more skits or set changes. I love kids but feel to much time was given to kid and beds being moved in and out. The second half was better . I like to hear the older man with the beard sing more. He's seems to be one of the head stars he has a beautiful voice and he didn't sing by himself much this year. I go to all your amc shows and he is one of the reasons why. tell him he looks good , lost a lot of weight

My favorite part was the caroling and Ava Maria. The scenery was beautiful. Not wild about the Santa's candy part.

During the first 30 minutes of the show, there seemed to be almost "too much" activity on the stage at one time and was a bit overwhelming giving me a slight headache.

The adults were excellent; the children were poor. It woud have been nice to have had more of a plot rather than just a musical. Stories are more intriguing. The setting was beautiful, but the seating could be improved because it's hard to see when a taller person sits in front of you.

THE FIRST HALF KINDA DRAGGED ON A BIT BORING SONGS TOO SLOW PACED ETC..

I very much enjoyed the variety of music and dance in this program. It was one of the best Christmas shows yet!!

The show was enjoyable, but not my favorite AMT Christmas production. The first half and the "candyland" part of the second half was very "busy".

We could not see because the people in front of us were taller than us. Unless I would be able to get the front row of the center Mezzanine, I will never go to your theatre again.

As usual, an outstanding show! Our two grandsons, ages 4 and 2, never got out of their seats because they were enjoying the show so much. We came to the show from Maryland and had 14 people in our group.

We loved the show! The 10-piece orchestra & musician solos were terrific. The stage decor was beautiful. Although I was disappointed there wasn't a few more tap dancing numbers, the gingerbread tap dance was wonderful and the rest of the choreography was great! The costumes were beautiful, colorful and so detailed. All of the entertainers were excellent. So happy that Shelly was still part of the show. The show was a nice balance of sacred and secular selections.

I enjoyed the show overall, but our group loved the second half better. That's all the group were talking about is the second half and didn't want to leave after that great singing

AMT never ceases to amaze us. Your shows are always amazing and always changing. Each year the Christmas show is better than the last, not sure how because we love them all.

I truly enjoyed the show, stage sets were beautiful, performers very talented, everyone did a great job, but one dancer in particular stood out for me, Corey. His exuberance and enthusiam seemed to shine. ( no, I do not know him personally) but I was impressed! I plan to attend the theatre again and bring my grandchildren.

It was just great! There were 10 people in my party, not one criticism we thought it was outstanding.

Although we loved the show we must admit honestly that we did like last year's show better with all the additional scene changes and the more Biblical feel to the show. However, the performers were excellent.

Orchestra needs to be heard more by itself, possibly 2 songs without singing.

It brought back the Christmas spirit the way it was when we were growing up.

The sound was over-amplified to the point of distortion, making it difficult to appreciate the vocal harmonies. The vocal and instrumental balance also was not good.

We have been to past Christmas shows. While this one was entertaining it just felt a little flat in comparison.

Your in-house productions have gotten better and better. Could not find a higher quality show anywhere (and we have seen many at many different places)

The vocalist with the beard was outstanding.

We wanted to do something Christmasy with out-of-town guests and we hit the jackpot! All of us loved the show! I expected a song and dance variety show and got so much more! The talent of the actors and dancers and the creativity of the production was amazing. And we loved the segment with the "little girl" while the set was being changed.

The music was great & the people's voices were very good.

I find AMT's own productions disappointing and just not what I want to spend my money on. The cast is very talented (dancing and singing), but is just does not work for me.

Overall beautiful - good combination of Christmas songs and Christmas carols.

A beautiful production.

I have attended other presentations, I was a little disappointed in this one . The others had more of a story to the theme, costumes where changed more ofter and the stage props as well. I purchased 6 tickets and we all agreed, we were a little "sleepy at times"

The song selections were great, liked the religious section, the candy selections at the beginning of the second act were good, the opra-like solos towards the end were nice too, the child actors did great, really it was a well executed show, very entertaining.

Supreme. My friend and I came 3.5 hrs to see this wonderful holiday show. Oh so glad we did.

I did not like this show as well as previous years. I did not care for some of the song selections, there are so many beautiful xmas songs that could be utilized, no changes really to background and I felt with the price paid to attend there were to many performances centered around kids, I come to see good singing and music. It is nice to include the kids in some small ways but I felt as I watched that their involvement was almost forced into the show in some spots where it either took away from the song or for example right after intermission I felt like I was watching a childrens show which didn't interest me at all. I remember a few years back there was skating and various other entertaining events which made an excellent show; this show didn't do anything for me. I walked away very disappointed compared to previous years experiences. Wes Cook (I think that is the gentlemans name) is an awesome singer and I felt he should have been involved more. The piano player is amazing, a couple more songs of just the muscial part would be nice, they do an exceptional job.

Seating was not elevated well enough to see a good view of the stage over the heads of those in front of us. Also, the first half of the show was pretty cheesy & lounge-singer-ish.

during the candy cane section, the background music was too loud and made the talking and singing very difficult to hear and understand.

The mix of music & dance flowed well and had a theme. The kids were great. Something for all ages including Santa. Excellent scenery.

This is the 5th christmas show i have seen. They are always awesome!. My favorite is the short blonde woman who does funny skits. She has unbelievable versatility. Does she have any CD's. Someone should get her a record deal!

Excellent family entertainment!

A few of the male singers had grating voices. As a group, they were fine. The show was a little boring. Dozed off two or three times. So did a few others around us.

Not nearly as good as 2011. The backgrounds didn't change as much. The song selection was slow moving and the comedy skits were not as good as other years. The music didn't flow well from one song to another.

One of our holiday traditions is attending the AMT Christmas Show with our grandchildren that are now ages 20 and 16, they enjoy the performance as much now as they did when they were young children.
The song selections, the stage, the performers, the orchestra were absolutely excellent!

I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVE 24 PEOPLE ATTEND YOUR SHOW. THE RESPONSE I GOT WAS THAT EVERYONE THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT. THE CAST ARE FANTASTIC. WHAT A JOY TO SEE AND HEAR A CHRISTMAS SHOW AND NOT A HOLIDAY ONE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS REVIEW 5 STARS, BUT I RATE IT 4 1/2 STARS BECAUSE THE "CANDY LAND MONTAGE" WAS MUCH TOO LONG. IT COULD BE SHORTEN BY 10 OR 15 MINUTES AND AN ADDITIONALSONG COULD BE ADDED. ASIDE FROM THAT IT WAS A REALLY NICE WAY TO START THE HOLIDAY SEASON. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEARS PROGRAM.

The entire show was excellent. The pace of the show/music was wonderful. There wasn't a lot of "filler", or idle chat, just one great song/performance after another.

Great mix of songs - not too over the top on traditional Christmas songs. The comedy with the one person and the large chair was a great mix.

Maybe because we were in the balcony, it was hard to hear and appreciate the music and comedy routine because of the fast talking and high pitched voice. Also, I thought it odd that the serviceman returning home immediately turned his attention to the Christmas Tree instead of his family. He should have sung "I'll be Home for Christmas" in my opinion.

My granddaughter absolutely loved the little girl trying to get up on the chair. She laughed out loud.

More of the Christmas Story is needed! More Christian music!

7th straight year- always look forward to this show to start the season

This show was so much better than the last one that we came to see in 2010.

The show was great. You can tell they put a lot of hard work into the show.

Really wish there was more dancing and story telling. Price was also to high for this show.

It was a great way to start the Christmas season. The performers were wonderful. We had seen the show at Rockerfellow center, This show was more enjoyable.The theater was very comfortable, seats were great.

Parts of the show were much better than others. My seats were 1st row mezzanine and were AWFUL. The seats were the same level as the last row of the orchestra and my mother could not see the stage. I expected more for the price that I paid for the seats.

Better than going to New York. What talent!

This was our third year at the show! It was great as always and helped us get into the Christmas Spirit!

What can't shows like yours start on time?

It entertained everyone in our group--kids, parents, and grandparents, and was the highlight of our visit to Pennsylvania. We've seen the Radio City Christmas Show and enjoyed this at least as much--probably even more, considering the spacious and modern theater, the seats (which were better than we could have gotten in NYC), and the incredible price. Radio City is four times as expensive but NOT four times better.

We liked the that there was more group singing than solos. We did wish there was more dancing but liked the show this year because it was different. Of course we still like shelly in the show.

Great song variety, great decorations and stage props. Only area for which we would suggest improvements was spot lighting. Everyone in our group complained of being blinded repeatedly during the show by the spot lights as they rolled down too low, into the eyes of the audience.

The performance was wonderful. And we really appreciate the whole experience. Meeting the cast is a huge plus to our family.

Most spectacular of your "Original Productions" that I have seen. My group has been coming many years and we always know we will be thoroughly entertained.

Wonderful music - the voices blend so well and the dancing was fantastic. Loved the humor seen in the facial expressions.

We have seen the Christmas show probably 8 - 10 years. We feel that the overall group of singers this year was very talented. Their voices worked so well together. Too bad we live 3 hours away, or we would return for another show.

The talent on stage was wonderful. The whole show was great!!!! I am so glad I was there.

One of the best Christmas shows ever at AMT

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The playlist was excellent, as were the renditions of each song. The only way they show could have been improved was in the choice of singer for Ave Maria. The woman vocalists who sang it last year (Angela Walker, I believe), and who is part of the cast again this year, produces 'goose bumps' when she sings that song. The 4 men were good, but they did NOT produce gooseflesh.

missed some of the previous performers re: Mike & wife also some of the dancers--was glad to see 2 still there from previous shows I had attended. Wes & the "lil" girl on the hi-chair :)

We come out to AMT every year to start off the Christmas season. We've never been disappointed yet. I just wish i would have gotten seats closer then what I did.

I had my daughter and 2 granddauhter with me for their b-day the show was just a tad to long and getting out of the parking lot was terrible but we did enjoy it.

My wife and I usually go to all of your original shows, as we are frequent visitors to Lancaster. I am a grandpa, and I love kids, but I thought the children's participation in the show was excessive.. I know that you can't have every Christmas song in your show, but I didn't get the `candy' theme portion of the show.

The level of talent of the musicians and performers is amazing. They are so professional; as good as Broadway, maybe even better.

The whole show is great...singing, orchestra, dancing, costumes, set, etc.

Ave Maria sung by the four male singers was a personal favorite and the beautiful woman who plays the little girl was hysterical. The woman who played Mrs. Claus was great too. Also, the instrumental number was fantastic. The whole show was great!

2nd half of the show was more than fantastic. Didn't want it it end. The first half was a little (more than a little slow). Please don't put partridget in a pair tree in next years show and sing all courses of it.

Singers have great voices, dancers & children are so talented too! Sets & costumes were colorful & could be seen from any seat in theater.

We thought the first part was a little slow...same scenario...one carol after another.

I thought the second half of the show relied too heavily on the children. Also the emotional part in the first half, where the soldier comes home at Christmas, and his wife runs to him, and he sings O Christmas Tree????? Anything but that, that really killed the mood of the moment.

WE HAVE BEEN COMEING TO THE CHRISTMAS FOR FOR MANY YEARS. I THINK THIS YEAR WAS SOMEWHAT OF A REPEAT OF LAST YEAR. THE KIDS ARE NICE BUT THEY ARE TAKEING UP TO MUCH OF THE SHOW. I ALSO LIKED THE SKITS THAT WERE PART OF THE SHOW.

The orchestra and the harmonies of the voices were astounding.

The players really seemed to enjoy their roles and this feeling was was transferred to the audience. The enchantment of the show made you wish it would continue on.

Part 1 was boring...we almost decided to leave.

Just a little too many children.

I thought the first half was not nearly as good as the 2nd.. actually we thought of leaving after the first half. The first half was just one song into another (although excellent singing), but it kind of got dry. And although the first half had Christian songs, there wasn't a Christian "feel" to it when they were sung, if that makes sense. If there would have been more talking between songs, or a story told with it, it would have been an improvement. I was expecting more of a variety of things, but the second half was much better in that area. I loved the comedy of the (adult actress) little girl skit. And the Christian theme of the second half was a wonderful touch. Overall I thought it was a great show, but the second half really saved the entire show.

Often could not understand words of singers as music was too loud. Very disappointed in the arraingement of Ave Maria and O Holy Night

It was absolutely the best Christmas Show ever, we've been attending at least 5 years.

Our favorite is always the "little girl routine" however with that said everything in the show was outstanding. There was not a moment that was anything less than perfection!

Due to Route 222-S being closed I arrived at the start of the 2nd half, 2 hours to make a 35 minute drive. However the 2nd half was absolutely wonderful. I will probably try to see it again.

show and custumes were excellent this year

This was the best show I've seen. Each singer was excellent. The orchestra was exceptional. I wish I could get a CD of this performance. I have been to AMT before and would highly recommend this! We loved that it was fun and spirtual. Great Great Job.

The variety in music and dance was good. Decorations excellent. Having children in the program made it a nice family show for the smaller children.

Honestly, this show was by far much better than NY's Radio City Christmas Show. My family is still talking about how much we enjoyed the show.

The scenes didn't appear to segway and blend as good as they could. It was a good show overall that launched our season feeling but fell short of getting any ovations from the audience. It was good and just needs a little refinement for perfection.

I surprised my godchild's 7 year old daughter with this trip to the Christmas Show. She loved every minute of it. At one point in the show she thought a cast member beckoned her to the stage. She was out of her seat and heading that direction before I had to call her back. One of the adult female performers went out of her way to connect with her and she could not wait to speak to her after the performance. It was delightful to enjoy this show through a 7 year old's eyes.

The changes from other years were great. Also, reducing the amount of time the girl with the chair me if funnier.

Too many people and too much activity that took away from the singers for me.

The singing and dancing was superb.The kids added to the show.

More dancing in the first half. Singers were great, but need to up the tempo some.

It was a very good show. The second half of the performance I would of like to hear more Christmas songs as opposed to the candy theme and opera songs.

So much talent, stage scenery exceptional, content great, spirited and inspirational.

Because of my backgroun exrerience, I enjoy the technical aspect of the show (staging, lighting & sound) as well as the performance. The staging was fantastic! There were a few times the performers were "out of the spotlight"at the beginning or end of a performance - a minor thing, but noticable. Overall a great show..

1st 1/2 was too slow & boring -- 2nd 1/2 was fast paced and exciting- more than made up for such a bad start

Too much time devoted to children,99 per cent of people there were adults. More time should be given to the ladies beautiful voices.

The Cast of the show once again did a fantastic job. As I told them after the show I have been to Radio City and Broadway and they are just as good if not better than NYC shows.

Loved it all...really enjoy when Michelle plays the little girl part.

Singers have great voices, dancers & children are so talented too! Sets & costumes were colorful & could be seen from any seat in theater.

We thought the first part was a little slow...same scenario...one carol after another.

I thought the second half of the show relied too heavily on the children. Also the emotional part in the first half, where the soldier comes home at Christmas, and his wife runs to him, and he sings O Christmas Tree????? Anything but that, that really killed the mood of the moment.

Wonderful scenery, costumes, great performances and an overall enjoyable show.

I thought the variety of songs was excellent, and was for all ages.

The whole show was extraordinary. From the moment the performers came through the beautifully designed front door of the set to the moment they sang their final song, it was a magical experience to be there. The show evoked in the audience all their best memories of what Christmas was to those in attendence and what it should be. It was faced paced, flowing seamlessly from one Christmas experience to the next, totally enthralling the audience in the process. Everything about the show was first rate, including the performers, the musicians. the sets,and the costumes. I loved the whole concept of the show, recalling favorite Christmas memories. I was there at the 3 pm show and went to Dutch Apple's Swinging Christmas for dinner the same day. Dutch Apple tried to execute the same concept but failed miserably. My husband and I left that theater during intermission as the first act was so disappointing.

storyline made sense, singers & dancers excellent as always, scenery was festive & colorful

The candy segment (Act 2) was a little too long.

Show had nice variety of music. We had 9 year old with us. She loved the first half and most of second half. She started to lose her attention as it went into caroling part of show.

The level of talent of the musicians and performers is amazing. They are so professional; as good as Broadway, maybe even better.

Ave Maria sung by the four male singers was a personal favorite and the beautiful woman who plays the little girl was hysterical. The woman who played Mrs. Claus was great too. Also, the instrumental number was fantastic. The whole show was great!

2nd half of the show was more than fantastic. Didn't want it it end. The first half was a little (more than a little slow). Please don't put partridget in a pair tree in next years show and sing all courses of it.

My wife and I usually go to all of your original shows, as we are frequent visitors to Lancaster. I am a grandpa, and I love kids, but I thought the children's participation in the show was excessive.. I know that you can't have every Christmas song in your show, but I didn't get the `candy' theme portion of the show.

The performers were outstanding--the sets beautiful. This show gets us in the Christmas spirit!

We come out to AMT every year to start off the Christmas season. We've never been disappointed yet. I just wish i would have gotten seats closer then what I did.

Everything about the show was great.

I had my daughter and 2 granddauhter with me for their b-day the show was just a tad to long and getting out of the parking lot was terrible but we did enjoy it.

It is amazing how each year you turn traditional Christmas songs into totally new shows.

My husband and I have been coming to the Christmas Shows for about four years. Every year we're sure that the next year just couldn't be improved upon -- BUT, every year we've been wrong. The show just gets better and better. We just love Shelly! And we love that there's religious music and the Christmas story and the cross. It's a true Christmas Show and leaves us feeling happy and blessed! Thank you!!

like no other Christmas show I have seen.. liked the innovation and different music and of course the very professional talent.

I missed the Christmas nativity scene this year; everything else was nice, but since it is Christmas, I was disappointed that was not included.

Every element was superb... singing, costumes choreography, lighting, orchestra. A wonderful show!

Beautiful stage presentation. Theater decoration was five stars. Very comfortable theater in appearance and comfort such as seating.

The last set of religious songs/ensembles/instrumentation/dance was superb -- perhaps the best we have seen in five years. The children's "Santa - candy shop section was overdone and too long. We always look forward to this show to begin our Christmas holiday season. Thank you!

Best yet show

Every year we say this years show was the best ever and it was again this year.

This show was much better than the Christmas show I saw about four years ago. Your new director is doing something right!

We left at the intermission. The show was boring. For some numbers I felt that I was at an elementary school show. There were no costumes. The dresses of the females were unremarkable. There was zero choreography. There was nothing remarkable about this production. It certainly doesn't compare to previous shows.

Music and scenery excellant

Sound was a bit too loud giving a somewhat false, recorded sound to the show. Large mikes are distracting from performers. Performances well done.

I thought there was too much kid activity in the beginning. It just seemed too busy for me for an opening number. Glad they had a part in the show though.

I thought the orchestra was too loud. It overpowered the vocals. The show was much better than the 20l0. Did not attend last year because of the poor show in 20l0.

My family looks forward to this show every year. We love how it is so different each year. We can't wait until our granddaughter is old enough to see it!

I thought that Wess, Julie and Angela were under utilized. Their voices are wonderful especially at Christmas but I did not get the same WOW like in last year's show. I would prefer less time spent on the first part of the second act where the emphasis was placed on the children and humor.

Would rather see all traditional songs we all know. Candy part was very slow. Been to many shows and most of time would like to return to see again. We would but probably not.

The best Christmas show we have seen at AMT.

Decidedly better than 2010 show, slightly better than 2011. This is particularly true of the band.

We have been coming to the Christmas shows for many years and always enjoy them. Good value--great singers!

What a beautiful show! What talented singers,dancers, and musicians. The children were a joy to watch.The sets were breath taking. I found myself smiling throughout the second half of the show. The young service man coming home to surprise his family brought tears to my eyes.I especially enjoyed the Candyman and as always the little girl and her big chair! Another big hit for American Music Theatre!

We were thrilled with the new Christmas show! I don't know how they do it, but it keeps getting better every year! From the beautiful sets and costumes to the amazing band, singers and dancers! It was an wonderful evening that stayed true to the real meaning of CHRISTmas!

Wow! Enjoyed every moment. What makes this show so special (and every original cast show at AMT) is the live orchestra. Great singers can be heard many places, but the orchestra players are so talented, especially Mike Lambertson on violin. Hearing him play alone, is worth the price of admission. He plays from the depth of his soul, even on the tambourine!

the best show

We have been fortunate to be able to see most of the American Music Theatre's Christmas Shows. This year was just splendid! I Love the synergy of the band - it adds so much to the show especially Michael on the violin - who has so much personatlity with the music! The show, the sets, costumes, voices, are Broadway quality - if not better. A wonderful show to see as a couple or family. Certainly reflects the real meaning of Christmas!

This will be my third (or maybe, it might be my fourth) time coming to the American Music Theatre to see its outstanding Christmas performance! The first time I saw it made me absolutely speechless! The singers had great tones and such emotion in their voices! As a singer, I can tell that they really love being on stage and sharing their gifts of music with the audience! The instrumentalists (The Orchestra) were phenominal! These people have true talent in their blood (I can't play a violin to save my life). Such a rich sound they produce. The sets were beautiful with so much sparkle and elegant glow in the background. Overall, this show is "A-Must-See!!" I am so excited to come and see the show again this year! Can't wait! It's very family-oriented, so bring your children! They will love it!

This show was absolutely amazing. I took my 23 year old daughter and my 6 year old granddaugter. When I asked them if they wanted to go again this year, my granddaughter responded \"I LOVED IT GRANDMA\". My daughter responded \"YES!!-I LOVE YOU MOM\". This goes to show it does not matter what age you are, this is a show for all ages. Everything about this show was \"perfect\". We enjoyed it so much I am taking the whole family this year (12 of us). I certainly would not buy 12 tickets if I did not feel the show was worth it. This show is worth every penny it costs to see it and I am looking forward to the family enjoying it together. It will definitaly put you in the Christmas spirit and be a memory you will never forget.

We've seen Christmas shows at other theatres in the past, and they were usually just "so-so," so we decided to check out AMT's last December. WOW! From the time the curtain opened, we were AMAZED! The snowy forest background was so realistic that we wanted to go up on stage to see if it was a painted curtain or three-dimensional. As always at AMT, the music was outstanding. But, unlike most shows where the emphasis is on either the secular or sacred side of the holiday, AMT's show had a wonderful mix of both. It was such a good feeling to see the true reason for the holiday season being celebrated right along with all the songs we've grown to love over the years. And the dresses were GORGEOUS! We can't wait to see the new 2012 show. Thank you so much, AMT, for presenting a holiday program that truly embodied the Christmas season!

better than any new york city production i have seen

I consider AMT Christmas Show as good as any Broadway show and even better than some. It is just an outstanding performance. I recomend it to everyone I know. Keep up the good work guys.

I really enjoyed the show, loved the music and singing, but would have liked a little break in between with a little comedy.

This year's Christmas Shows was presented in a whole new format. The music, singers, theme, stage setup, and performers were outstanding. I especially enjoyed the acts that included the children performers.

I considered this one of the AMT "best" performing Christmas Shows. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to 2012 Christmas Show.

An amazing Holiday show!This will be my 8th year! I like to do a variety of shows, but the AMT Christmas Show is always 1st on my list. It has become a family event! Grandmother, Mother and Daughter's annual choice of shows. I, actually, see it 2 times a year, as I have friends that visit from Florida and they always want to go.I never saw the same dress twice. AMT is so accommodating! Easy to get to, even Grandmom can drive there. Wish you had a choice of 10 stars!

We saw this show Dec 2011..this was the BEST Holiday show I've ever seen. We recomend this to everyone we know..A Holiday MUST SEE !!!!
