Rock guitarist, saxophonist and singer/songwriter Eddie Money arrived in the late 70s at the height of album rock’s popularity. He had a knack for catchy, blue-collar rock & roll, and jumped on the early MTV bandwagon by filming a series of funny narrative videos. Money’s had a string of Top 40 hits that include “Two Tickets to Paradise,” “Baby Hold On,” and “Walk on Water.” “Think I’m in Love,” “Take Me Home Tonight,” and “The Love in Your Eyes” all made it to the top of the Mainstream Rock charts.
One of the most iconic rock bands from the 80s, Starship recorded several of the decade’s biggest anthems, including “We Built This City,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” and “Sara.” While the band’s history goes back to the 60s, the incarnation still performing these hits today was started in 1979 when Mickey Thomas joined Paul Kantner to resurrect Jefferson Starship. The current Starship features the longest running line-up in the history of the band.

We felt Starship should have been the prime band since they out performed Eddie Money Seriously, Eddie, you are way too old to be shaking your butt at the audience. My husband was repulsed.
It was super fun and entertaining
The music was great and the forum was so intimate. The sound was tremendous. It was a great experience!
starship was great eddie money was ok for his age he gave a good performance
great place
The concert was great - top notch. Family friendly. Nice venue. Small and personal performances. Class act all around.
Starship sounded fantastic. Eddie Money is who I wanted to see and he put on a great show.
wished that Starship played a little longer.
Great evening down memory lane, when music was still good music... When life was fun, before mortgages, taxes and all those other liabilities in life...
it was a great experience. I prefer the smaller venues like AMT than the bigger concerts
Starship is pretty much over. If you're an Eddie Money fan, which I've been since the 70's, you would go see him no matter what. He's one of those entertainers you either like or don't - there's no gray area. Personally, I thouht he started off a little slow, but picked up and ran with the rest of his show. I thought he was great!
Show was too loud. Didn't know as many songs as we thought we would. Crowd was much younger than us.
a very high energy performance by both bands! Very involved in making sure the audience was happy.
Good entertainment at a fair price.
Mickey Thomas sounded great and the whole starship band was great. Shakin' with the Money Man is always a good time. Love Eddie Money!!!
Very good vocals.
Eddie Money was not at his best. I have seen him many times. Starship was awesome. Mickey Thomas was outstanding. His voice sounded as good as his early Starship days. Stephanie Calvert also has a great voice. It was overall, a great show. I love American Music Theater. It is a great place to see concerts. I just wish it wasn't so far from my home.
Eddie Money always puts on a fantastic show
We enjoyed Eddie Money
Eddie Money is a great performer. He puts on a great show and always gets the crowd moving. I think he had a great turnout for a Thursday night and as always, I love watching him perform. I will come back every time you bring him here. Thanks.
Both groups put on a great show. Sound was just the right level.
Not inclusive of the performers who were wonderful to begin with - the venue with its acoustical qualities, its friendly and helpful staff, the variety of performances offered, reasonable prices, few if any surcharges for tickets, parking, handicapped accessibility and a unique gift shop make AMT one of my favorite places to grab a show. It's wonderful to have a place i can go to see performers i love or check out a brand new type of performance by people i've never seen before knowing that i will have a great time no matter what. AMT is a wonderful venue.... clean, alcohol free, and with a wide variety of goodies at the concession stands for fairly reasonable prices. This has to be my favorite venue ever. Especially because of it's size and the intimacy it creates between the audience and artists. First Rate & Well done!
Starship was wonderful - I wish they could have been on longer.. Eddie Money "sounded" ok, but I think he's trying to act like a "rock star" but he's too old and comes across as a "has been."
I came to see starship, boy they are great.I did not know too much about Eddie Money but let me tell you he gave a great show and I would see both again, hope they show up at AMC again.Had great seats row L 209 208 We had seen many shows at AMC and not one was bad,
Both groups put on a great show. Sound was just the right level.
Just great classic performers!
Sound/Mix was harsh, sometimes distorted, and too loud for Eddie Money. Did not experience the same for Starship. In addition, the vocals were often drowned out by the band. Lucky for us, we were familiar with the words for many of the songs. Were sitting in row L, seats 105 and 106 to the left of the stage.
How often can you see 2 music icons in such a great venue.Im a big guy and really enjoy the comfort of the seats and the leg room!
