My Wife and I have seen Bobby many times here . He is a GREAT entertainer.Bobby always does a Wonderful show.I have never been disapointed after seeing a Bobby Vinton concert. His daughter Hannah sings in the show as well. She does such a GREAT job singing with her Dad when he sings Phantom of The Opera.Looking Forward to the show in October.
My wife and I saw Bobby perform here at AMT in October 2009. His performance was absolutely astonishing, considering Bobby's age. He was so high-energy and sang so beautifully for approximately 90 minutes straight. He had the audience in the palm of his hand. We said that if he ever came back to AMT we'd be first in line to get our tickets. To show you just how much we think of his performance, we will be giving up our seats to the Purdue-Penn State Homecoming game that very same day.
I met Bobby in the early 60s at The Brooklyn Fox... He was the band leader at the show accompanying ALL the acts!!! He also played the sax... He was sitting in a coffee shop with a friend after the show & my BFF Celia & I recognized him... We told him we thought he & the band did a GREAT job & that w/o the back-up the show couldn't thrive!!! He was so sweet & gave us info to contact his then president of his fan club Dolly!!! He told us he was going to begin a singing career & would we be interested in joining??? OMG, we were thrilled!!! Long story short, "Roses Are Red" (his 1st record out of the box) hit #1, Bobby married Dolly & Bobby invited us backstage at The Brooklyn Fox to see him again & watch the show!!! He's a FANTASTIC entertainer & a humble, down-to-earth guy!!! I hope to see his AMT show in October!!!
